Percentage of GCSE A* / A Grades 2010 - 2014 16+ H a rr odian Awar d s Congratulations to Francesco (L6BD), above, on his eleven A*s at GCSE, and award of an Harrodian 16+ Scholarship. Also honoured with academic Exhibitions were Ines Cross (L6D), Anthea Themistocleous (L6H) and James Drayson (L6BD). 13+ Common Entrance Congratulations to Christian (13P), above, who was awarded the 13+ Senior School Scholarship following his success in the CE 13+ examinations where he recorded the highest overall mark (87%) ever achieved at Harrodian. Congratulations also to Micaela Graiver (13S) and Jude White (13P) who received 13+ Exhibitions. Congratulations To All Our 15s (below) And Senior Pupils! GCSE results were extremely strong across this cohort of 102 15s (Year 11) pupils. Above: Olivia Drayson, A*A*A*A, above with Ms Oldacre (Head of Science), will be the first Harrodian scientist to study at the University of Oxford, where she will read Physics. Percentage of A Level A* / A Grades 2010 - 2014 Mark Irish, A*AA, another Harrodian to choose one of the excellent Economics courses at UCL, will read Finance and Statistics. Maddie Thursfield, A*AA, will be the first Harrodian to read Pyschology at the University of St Andrews. Some of last year’s Upper Sixth have now embarked on their gap year whilst the remainder of the group have started their degree courses either in the UK or overseas (see opposite). Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy which will be broadcast later this year. The English department, led by Ms Thomas (pictured opposite), achieved brilliant GCSE and A Level results this year. Eliot is studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths for her A Levels and is keen to read Biological Sciences either in the UK or Australia. Roby has been an Harrodian since PP3 (Year 3) and will be completing his A Levels in Further Maths, Maths, Latin and Physics and is currently applying to a range of the top English universities to read Physics.
