Welcome:
The PIL Hall of Fame has as its primary objective the
support of the athletic programs in the ten Portland
Public High Schools. Through the recognition of the
accomplishments of past student athletes, coaches
and administrators and the achievements of the
current athletes, coaches and administrators the Hall
of Fame Board of Directors believes it can perpetuate
and promote the great traditions of the Portland
Interscholastic League.
By sponsoring events such as the Hall of Fame
Induction Banquet, the Scholar-Athlete and Coaches
Recognition Ceremony and the PIL Hall of Fame
Golf Tournament we hope to bring recognition to
the league and its participants, as well as generate
support from PIL Athletic Alumni and friends. This
banquet honoring some of the finest men and women
ever to participate in the PIL is an example of how
the Hall of Fame Board of Directors envisions its roll
in supporting PIL Athletic Programs.
We sincerely hope that you have an enjoyable
evening reminiscing about the outstanding
accomplishments of this historic league. If you have
an interest in becoming active in the PIL Hall of
Fame organization please contact one of the Board of
Directors.
