It features approximately 60 personal photographs from the participant’s life. It includes a favourite music track and is voiced over by our filmmaker. This film is ideal for situations where a number of different carers look after the participant and need to get a quick but engaging introduction to their personality and character. This consolidated life story gives the carer plenty of prompts and topics for meaningful discussions. The Profile can be watched on any digital device (smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC) or on DVD and can be shared with people around the world. Process: • In an initial consultation over the phone the filmmaker collects information about the life story of the participant and discuss a list of things that need to be prepared before the scanning session. • In the scanning session the filmmaker meets the participant and their family at their home. They talk to the participant in more depth and add more details to the life story. Together they look at the photographs and scan the 60 most important images. The preferred music track is chosen. • The filmmakers then go away to edit the film and write the script. • A first viewing will be presented to the family via an online link to make sure that no factual mistakes have been made. The family gives feedback to the filmmakers. • The filmmakers edit the final version of the film. Length: up to 10 minutes Narration: yes Music: yes Interviews: 2 people Delivery: online link and DVD Cost: £1,500 The Life Story is a 10 minute personal account of your life, based on interviews with you and your loved ones. It includes the most meaningful images of your life, your favourite music tracks and is supported by a script narrated by the filmmaker. The Life Story features the events and parts of your life that are most important to you. The Life Story can be watched on any digital device (smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC) or on DVD and can be shared with people around the world. Process: • The filmmakers visit you at home for an introductory meeting. They take time to get to know you and find out which parts of your life have been most important. You look at your photo albums together to make a first selection. • In the scanning session the filmmakers come back to scan the images that you and your family have chosen to be used in the film. You also choose your favourite music tracks. • On the filming day the filmmakers bring their camera and interview you. The interviews are done in a casual and relaxed way. • The filmmakers then go away to edit the film. • The filmmakers organise a premiere with you to which you are encouraged to invite your friends and family. • If there need to be any changes for factual accuracy the filmmakers will do them after the premiere and deliver the final film to you. It will feature up to 250 images from your photo albums and your favourite music tracks. The filmmaker will spend several days with you for research and write an extensive script for your life, which will be voiced over and added as narration. It is the most complex production and will be a lasting memory of your life, which can be enjoyed for generations. The Celebration can be watched on any digital device (smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC) or on DVD and can be shared with people around the world. Process: • The filmmaker will spend several days with you for research and write an extensive script for your life, which will be voiced over and added as narration. They will take time to get to know you and to find out which parts of your life have been most important. • In the scanning session the filmmakers come back to your home to scan the images you and your family have chosen to be used in the film. You also chose your favourite music tracks. • On the filming day the filmmakers bring their camera and interview you and the loved ones you have picked to be part of the film.
