Thank You Volunteers These Tax Preparers are Amazing Over 750 hours donated to YOU! “I cannot thank them enough, it is such a wonderful service to have them help with my taxes.” “They are so knowledgeable, they are great volunteers.” “Thanks for offering this service at the DPC Community Center.” These are just a few of the quotes I have heard about the tax preparers who service the community. They come in early, stay late and try and help as many people as they can. Why? Because they are talented, intelligent people who want to give back. They all have interesting backgrounds and past-professional careers. Interests now include a motorcyle rider to a musician to a traveler, they are having fun...even when they are doing taxes. (Not everyone enjoys numbers, so it is a wonderful thing that this group does.) !"#$$%$&'(&)%"*+,%*%($%!"#$%&'()*&+(,-.$/" Volunteer! !"#$%"$&%'()*+#,% -+.#%"$&%/+#0%*++1 Fashion show!! ...all inside! Many eye ailments that can cause blindness have no symptoms in their earliest stages. To protect your vision now and into the future, it is important to get regular, comprehensive eye exams. The best way to be sure you have good eye health is with a complete eye exam. Especially, if you are one of the more than 23 million Americans age 18 and older who, according to a national survey conducted by the National Eye Institute (NEI), have never had their eyes examined. According to the NEI, the most common reason for not getting an exam is assuming that you don’t have an eye problem.
