M AGAS IN ET
– a Norwegian magazine with an international touch
“Magazine-time is exclusive time.
Magazines are rarely used together with other
media – advertisements and the editoral both
captivate the reader’s full attention.”
Editorial profile
InteriørMagasinet is a Norwegian lifestyle
magazine with an international touch, focused on home and interior decorating. The
magazine’s high class profile is maintained
by the use of elegant pictures, clean layout
and exquisite paper quality. With our readers’ high expectations in mind, we use only
the best journalists and photographers available. This has made us the market leader in
our segment.
Our features are deeply rooted in the Norwegian, but we also seek inspiration abroad.
The content covers a wide range of topics,
covering homes and holiday houses, architecture and design, furniture and textiles, as
well as showcasing inspirational ideas and
international trends. In addition, every issue
has articles with seasonal recipes and travel
features from exotic and exciting destinations.
Core reader/target audience
InteriørMagasinet’s readers are highly educated, with purchasing power and a well developed sense of quality. Our readers have
an income higher than the average annual
household, and every third reader have an
annual household income above NOK 800
000 (approximately 96 000 euros) per year.
They are modern, urban, and take an active
interest in culture and society. They demand
high quality of brands and products, and often pay extra for it. They travel extensively
and often treat themselves to everyday luxury. Most of them live in villas, and many also
have summer houses and winter cottages.
As an advertiser in InteriørMagasinet, you
reach the trendsetters and first adapters.
Half of our readership are trendsetters in
interior design, furnishing and architecture,
often in a professional capacity, such as architects, interior architects, decorators, consultants, and stylists.
Market position
Even though several magazines have been
launched in our segment in the past five
years, InteriørMagasinet has kept its position
in the market.
We attract advertisers who care as much
about quality as our readers, which helps us
further enhance our position in the market.
InteriørMagasinet is the most sold interiormagazine through Interpress, and is distributed in leading furniture and interior decorating stores, as well as through the major
magazine outlets in Norway, including the
leading chains of news stands, convenience
stores, gas stations and supermarkets. Outside of Norway, InteriørMagasinet is distributed through Interpress in Sweden and
Denmark.
