On behalf of the Smith & Gardner Families,
we could not be more excited to invite you to join
us at the 1st Annual Stockmans Choice Bull Sale, on February 21,
2015 at the ranch, west of Olds, AB.
Diamond T Cattle Co has been producing purebred seedstock for over 35 years, 20 of those years we
have been focusing on our Angus herd and this year more so than ever before we are extremely proud of the offering
we have available for our bull customers. Through our four generations of family members we have always had three
common core values: dedication to continually improving quality, commitment to reliable customer service and celebrating the hard work and determination of a strong family business. These ideals are in the forefront of our daily
farm operations and how we foster and facilitate relationships. Whether competing at a cattle show, touring summer
pastures or processing cows and calves, we are forever reminded of many benefits of working, playing and living on
the farm.
This year we have put together a pen of 34 Red & Black Angus bulls. All are stout, rugged and sound structured
bulls, which will go out and work for our customers. The ‘building blocks’ for our success are the dams. Our cowherd is based on longevity, ease of fleshing and udder quality. We are proud to showcase our cowherd at any time,
as they are the greatest focus of our passion in what we do. As it is at any operation, we are on a quest to find superior genetics to walk the pastures at Diamond T, one that has infinite structural integrity, maternally oriented and will
develop with ease, maximizing outputs from low maintenance inputs.
These sale bulls have been on a Solid Gold Pfizer program, 12% grower ration with quality forages, Right Now Mineral and are managed to assure optimal health. Our cattle need to work for us, not us for them and we prepare them
to do the same for you, our customers.
We work with these cattle every day. We know their genetic potential and lineage extremely well. We also have an
immense pride for our own integrity. As much as we want to sell you a bull, we want to sell you the correct bull. All
that being said, you can rest assured that we will assist in every way possible to make that selection as enjoyable as
needed.

CATTLE INSPECTION: All carry permanent identification and sale tags corresponding to sale lot numbers. All
animals shall be available for inspection prior to sale.
BREEDING GUARANTEE: All cattle are sound and right , and all with a responsible breeder guarantee of
satisfaction. In the event of an unlikely dispute, the regular terms and conditions, standard with the Canadian
Angus Association shall apply.
INSURANCE: Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the Auctioneer’s gavel falls. Livestock coverage will
be available on sale day, from the sale management at any time.
TERMS OF SALE: Are cash or cheque at par, payable to clerks of the sale on sale day. U.S funds will be accepted
at the current rate of exchange. No release will be given until satisfactory settlement has been made. The seller
reserves the right to withhold animals from export shipment (foreign or domestic) for whom payments have not
been received prior to departure times.
ALL PERSONS: Everyone who attends the sale do so at their own risk. The owners and sales staff assume no
liability, legal or otherwise, for property loss or for any accidents that may occur.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by the announcements from the auction
block at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed material in the catalogue.
Right to Semen
Diamond T Cattle Co. reserves the right to collect semen on any bull sold through this sale. The semen collection
will be at Diamond T’s expense and the buyer’s convenience. Any semen collected will be for Diamond T’s in herd
use only.
Delivery
Diamond T Cattle Co. will deliver bulls to central points in Western Canada and will assist with trucking to Eastern
Canada and USA. Bring your own trailer and Diamond T will deduct $150/bull off the purchase price for bulls
taken home on sale day.
Sight Unseen Purchase Plan
We would like you to attend our sale, but if you cannot, you can have Brody personally handle your purchase. You
know what you want in your breeding animals, we know best the potential of the bulls on offer and will easily be able
to satisfy your specific needs. Call him with your specifications and discuss the offering, preferable a week before the
sale. Brody will gladly assist you with you selections and represent you on sale day. We guarantee full satisfaction

Wintering Program
Diamond T Cattle Co will winter all bulls remaining at the ranch free of charge until April 1, 2015 and fee of $3.00/

Cattle and genetics with this
amount of potential are few and
far between. There has not been
a single person tour the Diamond
T Cattle herd in the last three
years that haven’t fallen in love
with JL Bardolia 8188. She is
a true generational breeding
achievement. Never before has
a cow graced the pastures with
the unmatched phenotype and
presence that she exemplifies. The
fleshing ability and expansiveness
of her rib cage and cavity are
phenomenal and she displays udder
quality like that of a 2 year old
show cow.
Two years ago at Agribition we
invested in a herd bull that cause a
lot of buzz with his award winning
dam. Wiwa Creek Rush Lake 71’12
is perfect for the time and will lead
our future in terms of optimal style
and colossal muscle dimension.
Reports from everyone with his
daddy’s progeny are that the Rush
Lake’s have exceeded expectations
with more scale than first thought
with all the shapely muscle mass
we expected. The monumental
flush on Bardolia and Rush Lake
produced 3 herd bulls and 4 heifers
that have all been retained.
These two real world beef bulls
are what the industry is looking
for. Feed efficient cattle that
are moderate statured and have
structural integrity with impressive
skeletal width. For March calves
they have incredible credentials
behind them. 1445 has a 925
actual WW with a 127 WW index.
The 1458 bull boast a HEIFER
BULL BW of 78lb rarely seen in a
power herd bull. He transitioned
that to an 829lb actual WW with
a 113 index and a 102 YW index.
These two will be some of the
most intriguing breeding bulls to
sell all spring.

A very broad topped and square hipped bull with loads of
performance and masculinity. A maternal brother sold in 2013 to
Parksville Ranch and then a maternal sister was a sale feature in the
Headliner to Six Mile Angus. There is so much performance built
into Upward 1404. He weaned off his beautiful uddered mother
close to 800lbs with a 105 WW ratio and will have a sale day weight
well in access of 1300lbs. Now turn to paper where he is in the
top 3% of the breed for Weaning Weight and top 10% for Yearling

When Henderson Cattle and Diamond T Cattle purchased Upward
70Z from Brookmore Angus in Manitoba, the purpose was to add
pounds to our calves, increase the genetic potential of our cowherd
and find a different bloodline for our customers. With the first calf
crop, he exceeded all expectations. Low birth, massive growth,
great hair coats, and desirable shape. This calf is super shaggy
haired and big hopped with stature that screams ultra feed efficient.
His dam is built with a lot of quality and broodiness. A maternal
brother was a feature and high seller in 2012 to friends Kevin &
Crystal Fletcher.

Queen 9912. Her first three calves, all sons, have each featured in
our bull sale, selling to Speedwell Farms, and 2 to our friends Herb
& Marvin Klaudt for an average of $4650. 9912 has an exceptional
