Limit 60 Players
Three teams will travel to colleges to play in
tournaments in front of all levels of college
coaches.






Two and a half hour position specific
practices each week at Bo Jackson’s
Elite Sports instructed John Cangelosi
and staff.
Players will be participating in 7
weekend tournaments each with a
4 game guarantee
Use of the Cangelosi Baseball Facility at
Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports for seven
weeks during the league.
Professional infield with Field Turf
6 batting cages with machines
3 clay bullpen mounds
Cangelosi Baseball membership initiation fee will be waived for fall league
participants.
Guidance from the Cangelosi Baseball
staff about the college recruiting
process.
Jersey and hat will be provided.
John Cangelosi—Founder
Played 13 years at the big league level with the
White Sox, Pirates, Rangers, Mets, Astros,
Marlins and Rockies. He was the 4th round
pick of the White Sox in 1982. Played for the
World Series Champion Florida Marlins in
1997. Set a rookie record with 50 stolen bases
in 1986. Spent 4 years as a roving baserunning and outfield coach upon his retirement. Played collegiately at
Miami-Dade CC.
Billy Copp—Director of Travel Teams
Was the 7th round pick of the Pirates in
1986 out of Iowa State University. Pitched
4years professionally reaching the AAA level.
Erik Pappas—Catching/Hitting
The 6th overall pick in the 1984 draft, selected by the
California Angels. Played in the big leagues with the
Cubs and Cardinals.
Kevin Sefcik—Infield/Hitting
The 33rd round pick of the Phillies out of St. Xavier.
Played all 3 outfield positions as well as shortstop, second
base and third base at the big league level over seven
season with the Phillies and Rockies.
Dan Pasqua-Hitting
The third round selection of the Yankees in the 1982
draft. Played 10 years at the big league level with the
Yankees and White Sox.
Kelly Crosby-Outfield/Hitting
The 25th round pick of the Tigers in the 1997 draft.
Played professionally in the Yankees organization.
Played collegiately at Lubbock Christian University.
Jeff Opalewski—Director of Operations/Pitching
28th round pick of the Cleveland Indians in the 2000
draft. Played collegiately at Central Michigan University.
Coached 2 seasons at CMU, one year in the New York
Collegiate Baseball League and one year in the Northwoods League.
Jason Vitas-Infield/Hitting
Was the assistant head coach for Joliet JC for 2 years,
including the 2008 National Champion team. Played
collegiately at Joliet JC and the University of St. Francis.
Tommy Ward—Catching/Hitting
Played collegiately at Mesa CC, Black Hawk College and
the University of St. Francis.

The Cangelosi Baseball Staff feels this fall
league provides the maximum exposure for a
player serious about playing at the collegiate
level. In addition to the schools hosting the
tournaments, the Cangelosi Baseball staff will
utilize their contacts in college baseball to get
other schools to see these players each weekend.

state-of-the-art, 94,000 square foot, year round baseball training
facility that will feature:
