During your four years at USI, you will have the chance to explore the
Evansville community. If you are new to town, this issue of First Year @
USI will give you a list of places to explore while you are here!
Historic Bosse Field
Be sure to swing by the Historic Bosse Field before the Evansville
Otters season ends in early September! Bosse Field was used in the
movie A League of Their Own and is the third-oldest ballpark in the
US. Stop by and visit—it’s a site worth seeing!

Looking for a place to shop in Evansville?
Eastland Mall has you covered. With over

Burdette Park
Burdette Park, which is connected to USI via the USI-Burdette Trail, is a destination for
many. The park has an aquatic center—which is home to an Olympic size pool, diving
well, and childrens area. You can also go miniature golfing, fishing, play baseball or
tennis or check out the BMX racing track which allows bikers to race on certain nights.
Burdette Park is a place to check out during your time at USI!
