Rivermont Open to the entire Quad Cities community! 2016 Course Catalog: June 13 - July 29 Summer Camps for Preschool - 8th Grade Students Welcome to Summer at Rivermont Collegiate Summer at Rivermont is a fantastic opportunity to explore new interests, open new doors, meet new challenges, and make new friends! Join us for 1 class or register for the entire summer. Scheduling Rivermont offers a large selection of summer courses that run from June 15 through July 31. With morning, afternoon, and full day selections, campers can devote as much time as they like to Summer at Rivermont! The majority of courses are 1 week long, 3 hours per day. However, some are full-day courses and others run for 2 weeks. Campers may attend both morning and afternoon courses and bring a sack lunch with a drink for supervised lunch and recess between sessions. (If your camper is only attending 1 session each day but you would like him/her to have lunch with us, simply include an additional $20 per week for supervision over the lunch hour and check the appropriate box on the registration form.) Age Ranges Register your camper into the appropriate courses based on the grade he/she completed at the end of the 2015/16 school year or the grade he/she will be entering in the fall of 2016. Classes are geared toward the upper age group. Drop Off & Pick Up Campers may be dropped off up to 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their course (no earlier, please) and picked up no later than 15 minutes after their last course of the day concludes. Parents/guardians need to sign in campers, ages 3-14, at the beginning of each day and sign them out at pick up. Cancellation Policy Cancellations and withdrawals may be made without penalty before Friday, May 29th at 4:00 p.m., after that, a 50% cancellation charge will apply. This includes withdrawals due to vacation schedules, conflicting activities, etc. Confirmation Policy Within 1 week of receiving your registration, Rivermont will mail a confirmation letter along with a copy of your camper’s registration form. If a class is full, we will contact you. Registration Payment can be made by cash or check (no credit cards, please). Payments must be made in full at the time the registration form is returned. Rivermont will partner with River Music Experience (RME) KIDSTOCK, formerly Rock Camp USA, which will be offered on our campus. RME's KIDSTOCK program features 2 week sessions for young musicians ages 8-18. Participants rehearse their chosen songs, record them during dress rehearsal, and perform a concert in the Redstone Room. KIDSTOCK rehearsals are held from 12:00-4:00 p.m. daily during each session. June 20 - July 1 rehearsals, 12-4 pm July 2 concert at noon in Redstone Room July 5 - July 15 rehearsals, 12-4 pm July 16 concert at noon in Redstone Room KIDSTOCK at RME will include: Joining other musicians in your age range in a band setting, working together to select your songs for concert performance, and rehearsing as a unit with the guidance of our instructors.
