RECEPTION UPON ARRIVAL
IF YOUR CHILD IS TRAVELLING BY HIMSELF
AIRPORT : A member of staff or from the host family will be present as soon as your child reaches the
baggage claim area to welcome your child and ensure their transfer to the campus or the host family.
At the airport, it is possible that your child will have to wait up to one hour with the member of staff in
order to collect other students that will also be going to the same campus.
TRAIN STATION : A member of staff or from the host family will be present as soon as your child reaches
the baggage claim area to welcome your child and ensure their transfer to the campus or the host
family.
The member of staff or from the host family will have a name sign with your child’s name on it!
The member of staff will be easily recognizable as they will be wearing a yellow t-shirt with the
school logo on it.
If your child experiences any difficulties upon arrival, please ask them to go to the information desk at
“Arrivals” or “Departures” and ask to contact us on this emergency number:

It is compulsory that you provide us no later than the Monday before your child’s arrival, the details of his arrival (time, flight number or train number, where he is arriving,
“UM” service).

IF YOUR CHILD IS TRAVELLING AS AN “UNACCOMPANIED MINOR” (“UM” SERVICE):
Your child will be picked up from the air hostess by one of our managers. We will share with you the
name at the reservation. It is essential that you provide that name with the airline in order for your child
to be picked up by our team.
We can’t guarantee the presence of our manager on the ground if you haven’t
subscribed to the “UM” service pick up the Monday before your child’s arrival.
Please make sure to complete the “UM” file for your child’s return.
3 - ON THE GROUD ORGANISATION
RECEPTION THE DAY OF ARRIVAL
ON THE CAMPUS/RESIDENCE
On their arrival on campus, the students will be welcomed by our animation team that will provide them
with a welcome pack including:
The program for the weekly activities
Their student card with the emergency number available 24/7
A coloured bracelet depending on their activity group
Our school rules (that they must sign)
Then our animation team will accompany them to their rooms. Finally, a guided visit of the campus as
well as a welcome evening will allow them to discover the place and the other students.
WITH THE HOST FAMILY
At their arrival, the student will get to know their host family and settle into their room. The family will
answer the student’s queries and explain to them how their trip will take place. They will explain how to
get to school and, if necessary, which bus to take.
For your information, the welcome pack and useful information regarding the school
will be provided to the student on Monday morning before classes take place.

ANIMATION PROGRAM
The activity program is adapted to the age of the student (8-12 years and 13-17 years).
In addition, the animation team offers paid activities each week (Go Karting, Bowling, Laser quest, etc…).
You must complete the parent permission form attached so your child can participate.
The excursions and animations included in the “package” are not compulsory but highly recommended.
SHUTTLES
The school organises daily shuttle buses to allow the students to move around from the campus to
the city centre and the beaches.
Depending on the distance from the campus, the frequency of the shuttle changes but we organise
them to ensure that the students can make the most of their free time.
During the day: between 1pm and 7pm from Monday to Friday and from 9am to 7pm on Saturday and
Sunday.
During the evening: between 8:30pm and 11pm on Tuesday or Wednesday and between 8:30pm to 1
am on Friday, Saturday and the eve of public holidays.
Specific schedules are on display at the campus.
ROOM ACCESS
Access to the rooms depends on the schedule posted on each campus. The rooms are closed:
From 8:15am to 12:00pm - during French lessons
From 1:30pm to 6:00pm - during the activities/excursions/free time
From 8:30pm to 10:15pm - during the evenings
ACCESS TO THE POOL
Pool use is subject to the schedule on display on campus, and is used under surveillance.

OUTINGS
All outings are strictly controlled by our animators and covered by parental permission. The conditions
of the permission to leave depend on the age of the child and the type of housing (host family, campus
or residence).
8 - 12 YEARS :
Outings only under supervision. Activities are organised on campus, during the free time of the
activities and excursion schedule.
13 - 15 YEARS :
Student automatically benefit from a permission to leave after lunch (1:30pm) until the start of dinner
(7:30pm).
16 - 17 YEARS :
If the student is staying in a residence/campus, their parents must give their written consent
through the permission form to go out non-accompanied at night following the below restrictions:
1 night per week (Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the centre) until 11pm
Friday and Saturday nights as well as the eve of public holidays until 1am.
If the student is staying with a host family, they can automatically go out with the below restrictions:
2 nights per week (Monday and Wednesday) until 11pm,
Friday and Saturday nights as well as the eve of public holidays until 1am.
IMPORTANT :
During the nights where the child is not authorised to go out un-accompanied, accompanied outings
or activities will be planned in the residence.
Parents are immediately advised in case their child does not respect their permissions, and the school
reserved the right to suspend the student, should it deem it necessary.
We reserve the right to suspend permission, should we deem it necessary.
The permission is only valid if it is filled in completely by hand with all of details requested (to avoid all
fraud attempt) as well as a front and back copy of the ID or Passport of the parent or legal tutor.
RULES OF THE SCHOOL
Your child must respect the rules of the school.
We reserve the right to take the necessary steps, going from a warning to different sanctions,
towards the student that does not respect the rules.
Any consumption of alcohol or drugs is prohibited as per French law. It is also forbidden to smoke in
the school buildings. We have put in place smoking areas in different areas of the campus, in order to
control students consumption.
If a student doesn’t respect the rules regarding drugs, alcohol, violence, theft, verbal
or physical aggression, he will be immediately suspended.

SERVICES
In order for your child to receive mail, it is important to include the address of his campus or the host
family and asking them not to omit:

CIA (for Antibes) or Atoll Juniors (for all of the other sites) or c/o Mr et
Mme (name of the host family ) + full postal address of the residence, campus or host family.
PRECIOUS OBJECTS
It is recommended to check that your child does not have any objects of value on them.
The head of the school can keep sealed for the entire length of the trip passports or travel tickets on
simple demand. In no way does the school accept cash, checks or any other type of payment.
The school is not responsible for any eventual theft amongst students.
HOUSEKEEPING
Rooms are completely cleaned once a week (on Saturday). Sheets are also changed once a week. A
quick clean up takes place every day but can’t be compared to hotel housekeeping in anyway.
In the host family; it is important that your child respects the state of his room, and, overall, the family’s
rules of living.

Laundry in a laundry mat next to or in the residence (2-4 € on average per wash).
MEDICAL VISITS It is possible that your child may need a medical visit. The cost of the visit is their responsibility and immediately paid to the doctor that come to visit him or whom they visited:

HOSPITAL STAYS
To avoid having to pay upfront all of the costs, if you live in the European Union, you will have to present
a form named “European Health Insurance Card”.
If you don’t live within the European Union, you must pay of all the costs before being released from
hospital, then you can contact your health insurance for a refund.
