THE TV SHOW ABOUT THE SHOW THIRD SEASON NEHJ TV: A ratings hit as it moves to NESN T elevision networks, advertisers and viewers have shared a unified message the past two winters: New England Hockey Journal, the TV show, is a winner. “Our product and the platform is second to none, and after a strong debut season and even better Season 2, we have elevated our TV platform for Season 3 with a vibrant new host, acclaimed video production company and a shift to the region’s foremost hockey network, NESN,” Executive Producer Eric Seamans said. “We aim to celebrate the passion for the game in our region. New England Hockey Journal TV does that and much more.” Every episode takes viewers where no one else is — profiling the players and teams around New England that make hockey in our region so exciting and diverse. We go beyond the professional game and take viewers behind the scenes with the most interesting college, junior, prep and high school teams and players. In its first season, NEHJ’s four episodes were ratings successes. Advertisers including Bauer, Hockey Monkey and FMC Ice Sports reached an audience of more than 67,000 viewers in peak airing. Season 2 saw an expansion to seven episodes and even stronger ratings. Season 3 will continue the excellence that the NEHJ brand has delivered for more than two decades to our hockey-passionate region. Idelson signed a deal with CBS to distribute the series.
