We offer a variety of services that can help you through the planning, budgeting and orchestrating of your special day. Our knowledgeable and friendly Wedding & Event Representatives can discuss the many ceremony, reception room, menu, beverage and event enhancement options as well as available discounts for off-season and different day-of-the-week weddings. EST. 1988 Ceremony Indoor $500 DC Centre offers a beautiful indoor wedding ceremony alternative to brides who desire a location other than a place of worship. The ceremony is held within the same Suite or Ballroom as your reception and includes seating with chair covers and bows for 40 witnesses, a scroll embossed aisle runner, a wedding arch with tulle and a stunning wall of lights backdrop with accent columns topped with modern silk floral arrangements. This indoor ceremony package provides an intimate ambiance for the bride and groom, their families and closest friends while the remaining guests enjoy the comfort of sitting at the guest tables provided for the reception. Outdoor $750 DC Centre’s Wedding & Event Garden features a beautifully landscaped gated garden. Surrounded by privacy bushes, pear trees and seasonal flowers, the wedding and event garden will create a romantic atmosphere for your special day. The center placed and covered garden gazebo will highlight you and yours as you exchange vows in front of your family and friends who will be seated on white chairs on our heart-shaped grounds. Choose from 3 different times to hold your event: 10am, 1pm or 4pm Reception Friday rental charges will be 1/2 of the regular rental charge. A minimum guest requirement applies to all Friday and Saturday events. A 7% sales tax, 2.5% mayor’s tax and 18% service charge will be applied on the food & beverage for each event. An 18% service charge will be applied to the room rental. The simple addition of floor length table linens imbues the feeling of elegance while our striking plate chargers add a bold contrast to any color scheme. The most popular package will include chair covers and bows to match your event palette and provide that “wow” factor that every guest will feel upon entering the room. Many of our decorative items are used within our facility and inspiration room, please look around and imagine what a simple enhancement can do to create the upscale ambiance your event deserves! Decoration Packages Standard DC Centre will place any & all decorations from you that have been approved by your Wedding & Event Representative on the tables and in the room in the manner you request. Overlays are available in satin or organza in a variety of colors Chair Cover & Sash Upgrade $3.50 Per Chair Chair covers and sashes can create the perfect touch of color and make your guest feel as if you’ve provided a special seat just for them. Chair covers are available in white, black or ivory spandex. Sashes are available in satin or organza in a variety of colors. Napkin Upgrade $0.30 Per Napkin Napkins add that little stitch of color that could create the perfect table for your guests. We have a variety of colors for you to choose from to match your reception perfectly. Candy Buffet Upgrade $150 Candy buffet tables are an extraordinary way to treat your guest to a wedding favor all through the evening! DC Centre will provide lighting underneath the table, up to 5 apothecary jars and 3 crystal gem curtains behind the table for a gorgeous backdrop. All candy and desserts are up to you though! Sign-In Table Upgrade $150 Your sign-in table is the first thing your guests see when walking into your reception, why not make it special too? DC Centre will provide either a wishing tree or crystal gem tree along with wishing cards for your guests to write their wishes for you as a couple. Of course, you do get to take the wishing cards home with you! We will also provide a personalized keepsake standing banner to be out front to greet your guests, which you can take home as a keepsake as well. Chandelier Upgrade $35 Each Want to add just that touch of bling to your reception? Add a chandelier (or two!) to your room and you choose where! Want some ideas? Here are a few: • Over the center of your head table • Over the center of the dance floor (if possible with room layout) • Over the bar (or both!) • Over your sign-in table out in the front of the room (if possible) Be Your Own DJ DC Centre is now offering “DJ in a Box” An affordable alternative to hiring a professional DJ service for your wedding or event. DC Centre will provide all of the DJ equipment and you provide the DJ and music source (iPod, mp3, CD etc.).
