TEEN STUFF @ THE LIBRARY
Teen Craft Nights
Join us for an evening program full of crafting goodness!
Register at wdmlibrary.org or call the Reference Desk (515) 222-3403.
Programs are for ages 12 and up.
Magazine Chairs—Thursday, January 15, 6:00-8:00pm
Learn how to make a chair, footstool, or table out of old magazines and duct tape.
Lyrical Relief Paintings—Thursday, February 19, 6:00-8:00pm
Using song lyrics or poetry, paint, and a little tape you’ll create a work of art!
Divergent Crafts—Thursday, March 26, 6:00-8:00pm
Celebrate the Insurgent movie release by making a variety of faction inspired
crafts while we watch the Divergent movie!
Love is in the air...try not to breathe! Join our group of
sullen emo love haters. We will break-then-make stuff,
decorate and eat snarky cookies, and make
anti-Valentine’s Day cards—all while watching the great
heartbreaking
movie
Edward Scissorhands !
Popcorn and drinks provided. Registration is required
and begins Monday, February 2.
Join us for a presentation on what Teens
and Parents need to know about getting an
Iowa driver’s permit and license. This FREE
program will be presented by the Iowa
Department of Transportation, Drive Tek,
Street Survival, and the West Des Moines
Police Dept. Program is for teens and
parents of soon to be drivers. Seating is
limited so registration is required.

TAB meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Classroom. New members are welcome so stop by a meeting and
