Fiddler’s Green performs traditional Irish music in an authentic acoustic style. The band has
received hearty sustained ovations
for its performances over the past
several years from audiences all
over the New York area. Unique
and breath-taking renditions of
Irish airs as well as lively jigs,
reels, hornpipes, and evocative ballads have set this band apart from
all others. The quarter consists of
Mary Nagin on fiddle; Larry Moser on accordion, 12-string guitar,
hammered dulcimer, and concertina; Patrick O’Rourke on guitar
and bodhran; and John Corr on banjo, tin whistle, wood flute, and
spoons. Each member of the band contributes vocals, and Danny
Boy, when rendered in Patrick’s luxuriant Irish tenor voice, is a
memorable component of any Fiddler’s Green concert.
