Special Delivery God’s Love We Deliver Volunteer Newsletter “Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer.” —Anonymous November 2013 this issue Letter from Karen Pearl P.1 Letter from Karen Pearl We have been in our temporary space in Brooklyn for just over a month, and it is starting to feel like home. Without missing one client delivery, we were up and running after one long weekend of packing and unpacking. The first weekend in Brooklyn, we had lots of volunteers join us to kit client deliveries, and shortly afterward to help in the kitchen, on deliveries and in our offices. It was a truly remarkable effort, and I cannot thank our volunteers enough. Your dedication to our clients and our services has made it possible for us to settle into this new space while continuing all that we do uninterrupted. I greatly appreciate the feedback we have gotten from volunteers throughout this process, and will keep you posted on our progress through the Expansion Campaign updates I’ve been sending every few weeks.
