Current Programs
Triple Threat Performer Intensive
You can sing, dance and act – but can you do it all at the same
time? The goal of this weeklong study of theatre arts is to
empower young artists by encouraging self-expression,
nurturing individual creativity and developing inner talent
through training in three disciplinary areas: dance, drama and
voice -- thereby creating the “Triple Threat.” Participants study
with seasoned Broadway professionals in a variety of classes and
also receive individual coaching. At the end of the week’s
intensive, students are showcased in an ensemble piece
featuring singing, dancing and acting.

Young Choreographers Festival
The Young Choreographers Festival is a weekend program that
gives aspiring choreographers (ages 13 to 18) the rare
opportunity to work with experienced theatre professionals to
create an original composition – and then perform it on the
HARMAN Stage at the beautiful Palace Theatre! Students build
their individual pieces from beginning to end – choosing
dancers, securing studio space, organizing rehearsals, selecting
music, and designing costumes. In the process, talented and
innovative students grow as young artists, manage time and
resources, expand their knowledge of choreography and
experience the excitement of finding their own creative voices.
Young Playwrights Festival
During this nine-week program sponsored by Pitney Bowes Inc.,
middle and high school students work collaboratively to
develop a creative script that is ultimately transferred to the
stage. As they improve their literacy skills through reading and
playwriting, participants find and develop their unique and
personal voices of expression. In addition, they benefit from
improved self-esteem, pronunciation, public speaking skills and
voice projection. Penmanship, grammar, writing and spelling
are an integral part of the program. The Festival concludes with
a performance of the students’ play at the Palace Theatre for
family, friends and theatergoers!
DanceFest
DanceFest is an annual dance festival held over two weekends
for intermediate and advanced students (ages 10-18) who train
at dance schools in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. The
festival draws more than 350 dancers from approximately 20
dance schools each year. Students participate in master
classes taught by international professionals and Broadway
performers in seven different disciplines: Classical Ballet,
Contemporary, Modern, Theatre Dance, Latin Jazz,
Hip-Hop/Jazz/Funk, and Broadway or Rhythm Tap. The
highlight of DanceFest is the student performance of original
choreography on the HARMAN Stage at the Palace Theatre.
