Cibola Vista Phase II Underway
There have been many changes to your resort this last year, with many
more to come! Our Riding Center has grown with the addition of a full
corral, tack shed, holding pen and some beautiful horses for our owners to
ride. Oh yes, there's also the addition of our
resident bull, Stinky!
Across the road from the Riding
Center, the Administration Building has risen.
It contains the Exchange Center, various
Owner's Services functions and a health
center with many exercise machines.
Our pool area has had beautiful tiling
added and new furniture and cushions put
around the pool for your total relaxation.
We've moved our Sales Center into a
new building across from the Administration
Building for guests and exchangers to comfortably tour at their convenience!
But the biggest change is the groundbreaking for Phase II. "It's an exciting time
at Cibola Vista," stated Neil Cumsky,
President and CEO of Princeton Resorts
Group, the developer. "So many people want
to visit Cibola Vista, we have a great need for
more rooms, and the new Lagoon and Pool
Environment will be a spectacular addition
for everyone to enjoy. The Lagoon and Pool
Environment is 14,000 square feet of pure fun!" Planned for completion by

Bound for The Bond in Las Vegas
When I was a boy, my folks would sometimes put us to bed a little early, turn down the lights and throw some
Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin 45’s on the stereo. Occasionally, they’d dance together, swaying to the simple
phrasing of tunes like “My Funny Valentine” or “That’s Amore.” Today, the sound of one of these crooners
still evokes in me an almost palpable sensation of the fabulous ‘50s. It was an era of optimism: We knew the
United States and Great Britain would win the Cold War. After all, the Allies were in the ‘right.’ And who
better exemplified the mood of the times than James Bond? He was the slightly naughty spy who exemplified
sophistication in all he did, whether it was driving an Aston Martin through the Alps, lighting a cigarette for
a lovely heroine or using one of Scotland Yard’s ingenious devices to extricate himself from some villain’s
devious grasp.
This mix of impeccable manners, daring-do and panache was the beginning of a vision for Princeton
Resorts Group’s next project – The Bond – scheduled to open the end of 2007, at the prime intersection of
Russell Road and the I-15 in Las Vegas. Our vision for The Bond is to give owners and guests a taste of a
more innocent and optimistic era. We seek to help visitors return to the 1950s era of elegance and glamour,
of high-spirited fun and maybe just a dash of naughtiness.
We’ve seen from the success of Cibola Vista how much enjoyment there is to be had when you can step
out of the here-and-now and visit another ‘reality,” if only for a time. People who visit Cibola Vista enjoy the
chance to step into the illusion of the mythical 16th century Seven Cities of Gold while they are pampered in
an upscale, luxury project. Our concept is to recreate an atmosphere that hearkens back to a time when men
were ‘guys’ and women were, well, not dolls, exactly. They were much too classy for that! The Bond will
transport people back to the nostalgic ‘Rat Pack’ era of the original Las Vegas. It was a time when folks
dressed to the nine’s and went clubbing at the Tropicana or the Stardust.
At Cibola Vista we created an environment of luxury in a rustic, Old West setting. At The Bond, our
intention is to transport visitors back to the Las Vegas frequented by the top echelons of cool, from the era
when the likes of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra entertained elegantly clad women and snappily-dressed
gents as they sipped their martinis... shaken, not stirred.
The Bond, rising quickly.
Intimate, elegant and perfectly located.
The entrance, soon to be
awaiting your arrival.
Spectacular views, with the Mandalay Bay
across the way.
Cibola Vista is Changing Every Day
The villas that will become the second “city”of our Seven Cities of
Cibola – the “City of Gardens” – are beginning to rise. Our Lagoon
and Pool Environment is underway, to be completed this
summer. The pool-house café, a full-service poolside
restaurant, will soon follow. We have also purchased
several artifacts from the Rawhide organization to
be showcased throughout the Resort.
What will follow? Plans are underway
to erect an old-fashioned western street near
the trailhead and equestrian center. Below the
old-time water tower, families will be able to
pan for gold and gemstones, take pony rides
and experience the Old West through activities
and entertainment.
Daytripping Around Cibola Vista
You’ll find as many things to do at Cibola Vista as you have time
and energy for. Visit the concierge or call ext. 6712 for help in
making your plans. Here’s a sampling:
• Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece Taliesin West in Scottsdale was
literally created out of the desert with local rocks and sand to serve
as Wright’s personal home, studio and architectural laboratory.
• Voted one of the nation’s top five zoos for kids, you can stroll, bike
or roller blade through the Phoenix Zoo’s two and a half miles of
trails, past exhibitions replicating natural habitats.
• The Challenger Space Center in Peoria is a working memorial to
the astronauts who lost their lives on that ill-fated 1986 flight. Not
only does the Center offer stargazing and an indoor planetarium,
you can also become a crew member on a 2-hour simulated space
mission. Reservations are required for your trip to outer space.
There are many more exciting ways to spend the day around Cibola
Vista. Just call the Concierge for more information.
Here Comes The Bride
With destination weddings being the big new craze,
Suzy (née Blackford) Hauskins was ahead of the
curve when she and Scott Hauskins were married at
Cibola Vista. The first couple to be married there,
Suzy laughingly says that they were the "guinea pigs"
and she never dreamed it would go off so flawlessly.
Under a magnificent nighttime sky, with fire pits
ablaze and her grandmother's catering for 200 guests,
it was a joyous evening for all.
"It was perfect. Not one single thing went
wrong", Suzy says. With the ceremony performed
at The Fountain, Suzy was walked down from the
balcony by her father, Jerry Bourgeois, to meet her
groom.
Suzy is an administrator in contracts at Cibola
Vista and Scott is in sales. Even though they had
their choice of anywhere to get married, neither one
of them could think of a more beautiful spot than
Cibola Vista. Still delighted thinking about it, Suzy
says it's the best wedding she's ever been to!
Since Suzy and Scott tied the knot, two more
couples have been married at Cibola Vista. The staff
at Cibola Vista is more than happy to help you make
your own wedding dreams come true. Under a twinkling sky, magic happens.
Like glowing pearls, lights surrounded the ceremony at
The Fountain (top), while the pool beautifully lit up the reception.
Be an “After-school Hero!”
Many of our owners lament the reduced school budgets and reduction of after-school activities, sports
and clubs. Your kids deserve more! That’s why Cibola Vista has created the “Cash for After-School
Kids Programs” Program. Cibola Vista will send a check to any registered participating Booster Club
or After-school Program for every tour referred by one of their members. That’s $100 for weekend tours and
$150 for weekday tours to the club-of-choice in exchange for a ninety-minute, soft-sale tour of the Resort. Parents, family
members, coaches and friends…we encourage all to get involved. If you are interested in having this program presented
and explained to your local School, Booster Club or Parents’ Organization, contact Collins Culbreth at 602-889-4607.
- Phase II continued -
late summer, The Lagoon and Pool Environment will be a true vacation wonder and
includes a River Discovery Area, Vortex, Shallow Entry ‘Beach’ with bubblers,
Lap Lanes and Water Sport area, Two-loop Slide, Fire & Water Columns, Waterfall,
Negative Edge Whirlpool Spa and In-pool seating areas among its features.
Over the next few months, Cibola Vista will certainly grow. "Phase II
footers and post tension slabs are being poured, soon to be followed by the
underground utilities. Lumber is on its way and framing will go vertical by March,
and then we begin excavation for the new pool area," says Tim Cahanes, Director
of Planning and Development. Visit our web site, www.cibolavista.com, for more updates.

About Exchanging
Through Cibola Vista
“We stayed at the Liki Tiki Village and it
was so great for our kids. The kids really
enjoyed the water park. We had a great time
at Disney and all of the other amusement
parks. This resort will probably be the usual
for our family when we visit Orlando. They
shuttled us to the parks and even took me to
the grocery store nearby.”
- Dave and Melanie Johnson
“Thank you for all you’ve done to assist us
with our exchange and also educate us on
how to get the best out of our ownership.
We had never been to Hawaii. It was always
a dream of ours and now we know how we
can get there anytime we want.”
- Robert and Samantha Clover
“We did have an enjoyable week, we do thank
you for all of your help in arranging our trip.”
- George and Barbara Hegre
“We had an absolute blast at Disneyworld

Sunset Over Cibola
A Poem by Cibola Vista Owner, Ariele Brooke
How can I capture the vision
these clouds create
small thunderheads dwarfed
only by larger and larger ones
turning pink over white
right before my eyes fronds of a single palm
comb the breezes up high
its pineapple – textured trunk
as still as the hills beyond
it’s a blue turning – in sky
thinner than cloud comforters
made of piles and piles of cotton
O Cibola, you are full of surprises
these clouds are lit from inside
by skylights quivering silent
thunder is a hundred miles away
I watch the sunset till it loses all color
but chalk and blue, golden streaks of white light
today this is my world
feeling free and letting go
in the peace of this place
I’ve come home to myself once more
as lightning quikens overhead
I wait for the next one like a beat
to capture my heart again
