Information is also provided to a wide variety of other provincial, federal and international agencies. The general public may have information that would assist in police investigations and help take a criminal off the street. Some members of the public don’t want to get involved with police directly, this is where Crime Stoppers can assist by providing the opportunity to leave tip information anonymously. In doing so, they could be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000, resulting from information they have provided. Tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, visiting our website at www.solvecrime.ca, by following the link on Crime Stoppers Facebook page or texting a message to 274637.
