CASH FOR GUNS
CAMPAIGN
Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers
with the support of local
police, RCMP, Canadian
Border Services Agency and
community partners launched
a new program that aims to
decrease illegal weapons in the
Vancouver community.
The campaign creates awareness about gun
violence prevention with the goal to get
500 weapons off the streets by next year.
To achieve this goal, Crime Stoppers will
offer cash rewards of up to $2,000 to
anyone with tips that lead to the seizure of
illegal guns.
The campaign runs on several Poster and Street Level displays across the greater Vancouver market for a period of 6 months.
