POSITION PROFILE
Commission Sales Position
3 Weeks Vacation (begins to accrue after 3 months)
Full benefits (after 3 months)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Build, manage and service an existing list of station clients
•
Provide daily account management via phone, email and/or direct contact with clients and project,
production & management teams
•
Develop, manage and coordinate campaign strategies and presentations for clients
•
Present and communicate campaign strategies and monitor results with clients
•
Act as liaison between clients, Traffic Dept, Creative Dept, etc. to ensure flawless communications and
execution
•
Grow existing accounts by selling additional projects, services, and divisions
•
Develop new client relationships and business for the station based on training provided
•
Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
•
Develop ongoing relationships with clients and cross-sell/up-sell various services as appropriate
•
Be able to demonstrate & anticipate trends, issues, and opportunities based on knowledge of client’s
business
•
Maintain regular client contact and prospect information in database
•
Analyze ongoing results to identify campaign trends and key insights to help meet and exceed client goals
•
Attend regular training, sales meetings, and station events as required
•
Manage receivables
•
Track and report activity to the Sales Manager
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
•
An understanding of Christian Contemporary music, spoken word programs and their listeners
•
Intimate knowledge of the sales process and client needs in a customer focused environment
•
Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
•
The ability to work as a member within a true team environment
•
The drive, enthusiasm and passion it takes to succeed
•
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Essential Requirements:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
•
Ability to multi-task with keen attention to detail
•
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
•
Sales experience, preferably in radio
