Garland Faith Community SDA Church Finance Committee
Planning for a Capital Campaign:
Following our initial meeting with Dr. Lilya Wagner and her well received presentation at our last
Business meeting, I would like for us to come up with the following information based on each
personal view of what our church needs in terms of future growth and planning…….this will help us
to develop our Case Statement which is the next step as outlined by Dr. Wagner. Please limit the
Mission & Vision statements to no more than 1paragraph with 2 to 4 sentences max!! Also, please
bring your assignment with you to the next meeting. Thanks in advance for your dedication to be
good steward of God’s resources.
MISSION STATEMENT: “Your mission i.e. the mission of the Fundraising Committee is its
purpose (may include who, what, why etc.)”
VISION STATEMENT: Your vision is what the future will be like when you are able to deliver on
your mission!
