For the ninth year, Canadians ranked Credit Unions FIRST in overall Customer Service Excellence among all financial institutions in the 2013 Ipsos® Best Banking Awards. So far this year, beyond the $50,000 contribution to the wellness center, we have donated $2000 to the West Arichat Columbarium. In order to be eligible for funding, an organization must be a member of St. Joseph’s Credit Union in good standing, be a non-for-profit organization registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks and be of an economic development nature. If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, you may still be eligible for funding from an alternate funding program. We encourage those interested to submit their requests in writing to the general manager, Michael Boudreau. Joseph’s Credit Union is extremely pleased to announce that member, Michelle Gionet, was the lucky winner of the regional grand prize offered through CUETS MasterCard’s Fall 2013 Member Contest. Michelle received 500,000 Choice Rewards points worth an average retail value of $5,000! In addition, a $2,500 donation was made in her name to the charity of her choice.
