Join TOV Tutoring for the 2011-2012 School Year!
JEWISH UNITED FUND
TOV Tutoring places volunteers in Chicago area Jewish
Day Schools. The project’s goal is to help elementary and
middle school children enhance their academic skills. In
just one hour a week, volunteers can make a real impact
on a child’s academic and personal life.
As a volunteer with TOV Tutoring, you can either work with students in the classroom during the
week or at the Bernard Horwich JCC on Sundays. Volunteers must be college-age or older and must
commit to tutoring for the full academic year.
If interested, please contact TOV or sign up online at www.juf.org/tov/face_to_face_tutoring.aspx.
We’re accepting tutor applications until August 31, 2011.

To sign up for a project, call TOV at 312-357-4762
or go online at www.juf.org/tov/mm_form.aspx
The JUF TOV Volunteer Network connects volunteers with numerous social service
agencies throughout the Chicago area. TOV is designed to engage members
of our community in the mitzvah of tikkun olam, repairing our world.
Family Friendly projects welcome adults with children
so that children can learn the true meaning of tikkun olam.
Volunteer opportunities are limited, so please contact TOV soon!
Due to the popularity of these opportunities, each individual/group
can register for a maximum of two projects unless space permits.
You will receive a confirmation email or letter with all the
necessary information regarding your assignment.
