We are honored to present Canadian soprano Adrianne Pieczonka in a
masterclass with three of the Society’s outstanding recent grantees: Alicia
Jayourba, Leah Schenk-Crowne, and Terina Westmeyer.

Internationally acclaimed for her interpretations of Wagner, Strauss, Verdi, and
Puccini, Ms. Pieczonka has brought to life such powerful women as Senta,
Chrysothemis, Sieglinde, the Marschallin, the Kaiserin, Tosca, Elisabetta, and
Amelia on leading stages in Europe, North America, and Asia. She has performed under many distinguished conductors.
Masterclass pianist: Craig Ketter, international recitalist and collaborative
pianist. Program host: Scott Carlton, Chairman, Singers Committee.
Free for members and students Non-members: $10.00
Reservations are not required. No late seating.
Social hour (cash bar) will follow the program.
Contributions to the WSNY Lauch Matching Fund are
doubled to provide additional assistance to our Singers Fund.

Formerly a violinist at the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra for 21 years, Erica
Miner is now an award-winning author, screenwriter, journalist, and lecturer.
Her debut novel, Travels with My Lovers, won the Fiction Prize in the Direct from
the author Book Awards, and she has won awards for her screenplays. Her book
Murder in the Pit has been on bestseller lists. Ms. Miner has spoken to U.S. Wagner
societies on both coasts as well as in other lecture venues.
