In addition, the proceeds from this event help support the goals and objectives of the Detroit Morehouse College Alumni Chapter which include mentoring young men, supporting other organizations that are committed to academic excellence and fostering the ideals and values of Morehouse College. The Mistress of Ceremonies is Ellen Hill Zeringue, VP of Marketing for the Detroit Tigers and Spelman Alumnae. In addition, we will honor an esteemed Morehouse Alumnus with the Charles H. Neal Service Award which focuses on leadership and community service. The attendance for this event will be approximately 1,300 people. THE SPONSOR BENEFITS WHAT IS THE MCAA? The Morehouse College Alumni Association is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 1924 as the primary alumni organization for graduates of Morehouse College. The MCAA represents more than 16,000 Morehouse College graduates who span the globe. The Detroit Chapter of the Morehouse College Alumni Association (DMCAA) is dedicated to supporting the goals and objectives of the MCAA and fostering the values and ideals of Morehouse College through community service, fundraising and recruiting.
