Double check that your emergency kit is stocked, items are not expired, and that you have
everything you might need. It is recommended to have a 3 day supply of food and water.
If you don’t have a kit, create or purchase one.

The 2016 National Preparedness Month theme is:
“Don’t Wait. Communicate.”
Remember! Emergencies come with little or no warning, so the key to handling the situation
will be your preparedness!
This month a Community Expo will be held in your neighborhood. The theme
is “Lincolnopoly." As you play the game during the event, one of your stops will
be at the “Are You Ready” booth. This area will have available resources and
information on emergency preparedness to support you in your preparedness
goals. Please read your Community Insert for more information.

Your Courtesy Patrol Officers respond to calls from residents
and report incidents for Off-base Housing. They respond to
anything that challenges our goal of providing a quality home
environment. A courtesy officer assesses the situation and takes
action through a report, the identification of a policy violation,

This helps management address the
issue and come to the best resolution,
whether that be addressing current
resident circumstances or preventing
future situations. If approached by a
G4S officer, please be courteous and
cooperate with their requests for information. They have the
community’s best interest in mind.
If you need to report an incident or want assistance in your
community, call G4S 24 hours a day, 7 days a week toll free at

This Month’s Living Green Tips
Living Green in School
School is in session and there are many ways to make a difference in the environment.
Follow these tips to help you conserve this school year!
•
Getting a new computer or other electronics for school? Make sure to purchase energy efficient models.
•
Use reusable lunch bags for children to take their lunch in. Pack healthy fruits and vegetables instead of prepackaged snacks and a
reusable water bottle or thermos for them to take their drinks in instead of prepackaged drinks.
•
Academic paper use generates mountains of waste. Choose processed chlorine free (PCF) paper, avoiding releases of dioxin and
