The Alerion 41 is the result of unmatched ingenuity and experience stemming from the 650 Alerions
that precede her. The carbon mast allows for the
elimination of the backstay. This allows for a full
roach mainsail that provides maximum speed and
performance. This is a big advantage in light wind
conditions when the better breeze is higher up off
the water. In heavier air, the full roach mainsail
simplifies reefing. Unlike traditionally shaped
mainsails, the optimal center of effort of this sail
shape maintains perfect boat balance even when
reefed. The jib boom gives proven performance for
a self tacking headsail. A hidden gas spring holds

All lines are lead aft to reversible electric winches
allowing you to intuitively adjust all aspects of

The design of the Alerion 41 ensures that your time
in port should be just as enjoyable as time spent at
the helm.
Our first-in-class folding transom allows easy
access for swimming and disembarking while
staying hidden under way. The deployed swim
platform reveals a hot and cold shower for after your
morning swim. Boarding from the water should
always be this safe and easy even if your swim is
“unintentional”.
Our anchoring system remains hidden while you
sail, taking up minimal interior volume. The
anchor roller deploys effortlessly and mooring the
Alerion 41 is done with the push of a button.

Since the Alerion 41 allows you the flexibility of
sailing on your own terms, shouldn’t the interior adapt
to your lifestyle, too? Besides the two private staterooms, the main salon invites you to relax and enjoy
your time below. There is ample seating and legroom
while relaxing on the settees. The navigation desk is
perfect for planning the next leg of your trip. With
room to spare, you can store your laptop computer inside
or on top. As evening approaches, the navigation desk
lowers to allow seating for 4-6 guests. The oversized
dining table boasts drawer storage for all of your
favorite wines and sundry items. If the weather doesn’t
permit dining in the cockpit, just open the table leaves

moments of the day. If sleeping accommodations for
6 are required, the salon transforms again revealing a
double or single berth.
As you retreat to the luxuriously appointed master
stateroom you’ll be mystified by the work of our
New England craftsmen. Storage abounds in the cedar
lined closet and a chest of drawers with each joint
displaying exquisite attention to detail. The adjacent
head has two entrances revealing a solid teak vanity
and plenty of space for towels and other items.
Since you’ll spend most of your time in the
cockpit, the galley is within easy reach. We spent
countless hours designing and optimizing this
space; there are two refrigerators, a double sink,
stove top, microwave and plenty of storage for your
cruising adventures.
