NB: for practical reasons, the processing and invoicing of UGS exhibitors will be handled by Eurosatory staff. Once your company’s request has been accepted by our services, you will receive a login and password, together with the General Terms of Sale, allowing you to fill our your stand order online on www.ugsevent2016.com. By placing your order, you agree to comply with the UGS General Terms of Sale which you can also download from our website: www. ugsevent2016.com/download-documents. You will then automatically receive an acknowledgement of receipt from the organiser recapping your order. 4 5 6 Subject to the feasibility of the particular features of your stand, we will validate your order and send a pre-payment invoice for 50% of the total amount (VAT included), payable on receipt. Upon receipt of your pre-payment, the organiser will: • give you access to your personal exhibitor space, that will be developed progressively, allowing you to prepare for the exhibition, complete your stand order and optimise your participation. You will then be in the Eurosatory 2016 exhibitor space; • send you the USG 2016 Exhibitor Manual (from September 2015); • suggest a stand location for you. The alliance with Eurosatory makes it possible to benefit from a dual civil and military positioning unique in Europe (80% of the UAV market is still currently linked to defence) while at the same time taking advantage of the 55,784 visitors of Eurosatory, of which 30% are in the civilian field, in particular in the area of safety and security. A unique opportunity not to be missed! 1- Different ways to exhibit at UGS YOUR STATUS • Direct exhibitor: You book and occupy a specific space and can accommodate one or more co-exhibitors from one or more companies (registration required). • Co-exhibitor: You are “hosted” by a company (a direct exhibitor) to present your products or services in their direct exhibitor space. • In a national pavilion: this area allows you to exhibit together with other companies of the same nationality. • Within an organised group: you benefit from the group’s reputation (Chamber of Commerce, regional group, professional group, etc.). NB: the latter two exhibitor packages are located outside the UGS area. Companies will be identified on the UGS Expert Route handed out at the 3 entrances to the exhibition. 4 2- Security deposit A security deposit (refundable after the mandatory exit inventory) must be paid for any indoor or outdoor bare surface area greater than 50m², for pavilions and reception chalets. It is intended to cover any costs incurred for the repair of damage to the stand and/or facilities. 3- Upper floor / Mezzanine option • Indoors If you wish to enlarge your stand without increasing the floor space, you may build an upper floor/mezzanine. It must not cover more than 20% of the floor area. • Outdoors You can enlarge your stand without increasing the ground space by building an upper floor. The area of the upper floor/ mezzanine can be 100% of the ground area. This service allows you to detect potential buyers and develop new leads for cooperation with French and foreign partners. LAND w SEA Business consulting Optimise your international development strategies Experts in industrial strategy from different countries have been selected by UGS for their ability to support companies looking for new openings on their domestic markets. This service allows managers from exhibiting companies to schedule meetings with these experts. This service is particularly effective for SMEs with export projects to these countries. The consultants are bound by professional secrecy concerning all information exchanged at these meetings. Strategy consulting is open to all exhibiting companies seeking to expand on the international scene. How do you access it? Who is this service for? It is for all exhibiting companies keen on benefiting from a tailor-made business meeting schedule and for certain professional visitors or contractors selected by the organiser. How do you access it? Fill in the dedicated online form to present your company. Three weeks before the exhibition, you will be able to select the companies you want to meet. You then validate the companies that have requested a meeting with you. The appointments take place on the exhibitor stands or, if you wish, in the “Business Meetings” area made available to you in the indoor exhibition area by our partner, the EEN Network of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Fill in the dedicated online form to present your business and the issue to be addressed. One month before the exhibition, exhibitors can select the consultants they want to meet. Following a 1-hour conference given by the IPC on their strategy and procurement policies, B2B meetings are organised to enable the IPC to meet subcontractors one to one. This enables the IPC and subcontractors to expand their address books and to identify new suppliers, partners and business opportunities. Outdoor live demonstrations Present your products in the field Eurosatory will be providing a 20,000m² outdoor area comprising operational settings to display operational systems in action. These presentations, accompanied by direct projections on wide screens, will be held twice a day for one hour. They serve to boost exhibitor visibility at the exhibition and promote their products. 10 shows will be held over the course of the week. Those UGS exhibitors who so wish can take part in these presentations. Who is this service for? Any company wishing to promote its products. How do you access it? Exhibitors wishing to take part in these live demonstrations must apply as early as possible by getting in touch with the Eurosatory sales manager. For the sake of the overall coherence of these demonstrations, final confirmation is given at the discretion of the organiser. Exhibitors can thus organise their meetings and make necessary arrangements to welcome the most important visitors. Who is this service for? This service can be used by all UGS exhibitors. Visitors wanting to organise their time at the exhibition can select the companies they want to see in order to schedule their visits in advance. When registering your company in the Exhibitor Catalogue, you can sign up for this service by giving an e-mail address for the management of your appointments. Exhibitors who sign up for this service undertake to reply to all requests. Boost your business How do you access it? > Price: service included in the Exhibitor Package uPon reGistration in tHe CataloGue 17 official delegations and ViP visitors VIP Guests VIP Guests are invited by the Chairman of the exhibition. Their role and activities within the armed and security forces, the emergency services and procurement departments of such administrations are key factors in the decision-making process of their governing authorities. They are people holding equivalent positions in the leading private or public companies who are looking for equipment in unmanned systems. With their VIP badge, they tour the exhibition in their professional capacity and must optimise their time and their opportunities for meetings. The organiser gives them special attention, provides working facilities at the exhibition and encourages them to contact exhibitors to arrange meetings. Who can receive VIP Guests? All exhibiting companies. How do you access this service? Register for the Exhibitor-Visitor Connection Service (see p.17) > Price: service included in the Exhibitor Package online ForM Official delegations Meet international decision-makers and IPC This is a potentially strategic service for your company. It should be handled and managed by those in your company who are in charge of welcoming high level visitors, starting from March-April 2016. At each exhibition, top level international delegations (Ministries of Defence and the Interior, Secretaries of State, Chiefs of Staff, armaments directors, national security directors, chiefs of police and emergency services, security executives of leading industrial groups, etc.) are invited by the Ministry of Defence or by the organiser to take part in the exhibition. UGS exhibitors can also benefit from this service. In 2014, 172 official delegations (OD) from 87 countries, i.e. 714 VIPs met the exhibitors at the event. Who can request an OD visit? All the companies presenting operational systems and complete solutions and exhibiting on a minimum indoor space of 30m² or an outdoor space of 60m². How do you access this service? Fill in the dedicated online form requesting a visit in your exhibitor space. These requests are essential to advise the delegations of the wishes of the exhibitors. The heads of delegations have the final decision on the schedule of their visit. A time slot will be proposed to each delegation for visiting the UGS Show. > Price: service included in the Exhibitor Package online ForM 18 Sho w CoMMuniCate LAND Eurosatory is THE international event to discover innovations in the defence and security fields. In 2014, over 450 products were launched during the exhibition. Some 707 journalists received the “New Products and Innovations” press kit and were informed of all the exhibitor events. A special UGS kit will be prepared for the 2016 edition of Eurosatory. Who is this communication tool for? The new products kit is used by all the exhibiting companies wishing to inform the press about their new products. If exhibiting companies want to attract journalists to their events, that information is available at the press centre. How do you access this tool? Give your reference or identify your colleague using the online form. > Price: service included in the Exhibitor Package online ForM The International Press Centre and press/media mailboxes Benefit from worldwide press coverage To benefit from optimal press coverage during the exhibition, a press centre is provided for journalists, enabling exhibiting companies to provide the accredited international journalists with information. Each accredited media has a mailbox that exhibitors can use to leave their press files and releases. A specific UGS press space will be available in 2016. Who is this service for? All communication managers of exhibiting companies. How do you access this service? Simply go to the press centre with your exhibitor badge. Communicate New product launches and events at the show Boost your reputation on the international scene SEA > Price: service included in the Exhibitor Package This directory contains the names, addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of the Press and Communication correspondents of the exhibiting companies. With 500 copies printed and an online version, it is given to all the journalists at the press centre. It enables you to be identified by over 700 international journalists as the person to contact. A specific UGS directory will be given to the journalists. 19 Eurosatory Daily Throughout the exhibition, articles in an official Daily will carry your information and boost your image by giving you publicity in both printed and online versions. In 2016, a specific UGS section will be included. Eurosatory Daily is a daily magazine produced by IHS Jane’s. It is distributed every day at the 3 entrances to the exhibition and delivered personally to exhibitors directly on their stand. In 2014, a total of 51,000 copies were distributed with the 5 editions. Over 2,024 companies were mentioned. Moreover, in addition to the 550 articles and news inbrief in French or in English, each issue carried a strategic focus on the field of Defence and Security. Each issue was also reproduced in full on the IHS Jane’s and Eurosatory Web sites and on the Eurosatory easy-to-read computer application. News Online: as the official Web partner, Army Recognition posts information on the exhibition but above all on the exhibitors both before and during the event. During the exhibition it reports on all the actions, new products and innovations of the exhibitors. A photo and video gallery is updated every day. In 2014, over 157,374 visitors viewed News Online. Who is this service for? Exhibitor conferences are open to any company wishing to present a range of products, launch an innovation or communicate on a theme of its choice. They are organised in a fully equipped open space inside the exhibition and are open to visitors and other exhibitors.
