‘A Notable Celebration of the Arts’ scores another success
It ‘s mission accomplished for this year’s
Notable Celebration of the Arts benefit
concert, which raised $4,400 to once
again fully fund the DGMC Student Music
Awards. The awards are bestowed on local high school students in the spring.
The November 14 event featured musical
performances by Renée-Paule Gauthier,
Chris Garofalo, Angela Presutti-Korbitz,
Ron Korbitz and Amelia Smerz. A dessert
reception catered by J. Fleming’s Absolutely Delicious and a silent auction featuring more than 60 packages ranging from
artwork and tickets to dining and overnight
stays completed the magical evening.
Many thanks to all our planners and volunteers, as well as those who attended the
event, bid on auction items and donated to
the DGMC.
Performers at the “Notable Celebration of the Arts” included (left to
right) Chris Garofalo, piano; Elissa Metropoulos, host; Ron Korbitz,
guitar; Angela Presutti-Korbitz, soprano; and Amelia Smerz, cello.
See Page 4 for the list of businesses and individuals who generously donated goods and services to
make the silent auction a huge success. Please
consider supporting them when you do your holiday shopping.
