Myths and Rumours






It’s too HARD!
I can’t do extracurricular activities.
I won’t have a social life.
IB is only for international universities.
My marks will go down.
I won’t get into the university I want
because my marks are lower.
 It’s only for elite, super-smart kids.
 What’s happening with KC?
What our grads have to say…
 “The IB programme has allowed me to be less stressed at
university.”
 “I have developed work habits that help me to better balance
my time in university.”
 “The transfer credits really help you out and open up
possibilities when you get to university.”
 “The Extended Essay is good practice for essays you write in
university.”
 “I gained more insight into the realities of university.”
 “IB made me happier and more sure of my
programme choice.”
 “It taught me to deal with workload pressure.”
 “It gave me valuable skills, allowing me to volunteer
in a graduate study lab as a research assistant.”

with life skills to make a difference to their
