Accessories that are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully before installation, and comply with the instructions at all times. Tips for Proper Fit •Make sure the bottom of the deflector rests on the door’s outer weatherstrip molding. •Check that the thin flange of each deflector is fully inserted into the window channel. The flange is designed to rest in the channel between the window glass and rubber seal. •For windows with an automatic raising feature: Roll the window all the way up without activating the automatic feature. Leave the window all the way up for at least 12 hours to promote proper function. •If windows are equipped with a safety feature that does not allow the window to close completely; sandwich the window with your hand and pull upward to raise the window. Leave the window closed for at least 12 hours to promote functionality.
