Vario-Employee Employee Klementine Vogt Mrs Vogt knows her job at Vario better than most, she should do after giving 22 years of passion and diligence to the Vario Brand. Her role within the company is the head of the department for fuselage kits, cockpits and mechanics. This job entails the packaging of kits and related parts prior to dispatch out to the end customer. Why do you work at Vario? Infos: Favorite Helicopter: big Airwolf Ord.No. 2002/2003 and really all Airwolfs Reason: the shape is pretty and I know this kit by heart.. In the beginning I started working 2 hours day. I started putting small items like screws in plastic bags. I loved this job from the beginning because it is never boring. Very soon I got asked if I would like to work more. This is how I learnt to pack fuselage kits and I am still responsible for this within Vario today. Now I work 5.5 hours a day. I have been seen all the development of Vario which makes it easy to cope with the variety of products. I am the one who is putting her signature under a packing list even if I am not responsible for the content of the plastic bags. These bags with screws and other small parts are packed by my colleagues. In this job awareness is important and I am proud that we hardly have any problems with damage during shipping out from the factory. It seems that I pack things up properly so they arrive undamaged. P.S. Klementine Vogt is well known within Vario for her delicious Spaghetti salad. Review Vario Event 2013 With estimated 1000 visitors during the whole day the Vario event can be seen as a successful event. Vario is nevertheless not measuring the success by numbers. The very pleasant atmosphere could be felt everywhere and is worth mentioning. Vario pilots should enjoy themselves when visiting us as it all is about their favorite hobby. And this is why we are satisfied with this day: all visitors had a good day, which we could see in all these many happy and relaxed faces. For the first time this year we started early on the Friday between 12 and 17 with a training flight. Remi Epron and Reto Marbach took flight students who had pre-booked on the internet, on the cable. For most of them it was their first time to experience flying a turbine Lama. That was 100% adrenalin rush for our students! By the way, we are already taking bookings for next year, there are still slots available – and it is for free! On our Vario event on Saturday, we have 2 major demos: one is the demonstration of the Vario models in flight and the other is the static display of customer models with a winning prize for the best modeler. Dennis En- Review Vario Event 2013 gel flies his Benzintrainer like noone else. Remi Epron and Bruno Ziegler are professional RC pilots and have been shooting aerial pictures for film productions like James Bond and Harry Potter. Their precision in flight is a joy to watch. To see Reto Marbach and his Lama in flight is addicitive. The Chinook, a prototype flown by Stefan Reusch, is very different to other models. Robin Adamschak is a very talented pilot for his age of 13! See the well-known RC flight Bernd Pöting in action. All pilots are without exception TOP pilots. This made the flight show a glamorous event. Special guest: Lionel Thomassey, Chief engineer for Superpuma at Eurocopter, Marseille and a Vario pilot. New Helicopters: these new models were presented in flight: • EC 120 turbine • Agusta AW 139 Elektric • Agusta AW 139 Turbine • EC 135 Elektric • Starwood Lama Elektric Static Display: The static display was represented by the following modelers: Herbert Räumer, Bell 412 Rolf Simon, Bell 212 Gerhard Munk, BO 105 Andreas Camphausen, JetRanger Jürgen Worotyla, EC 135 Klaus-Peter Rinke, Westland Lynx MK 80 Reckert Björn, EC 135 Polizei BRB Bernd Henke, Sikorsky H34 Benzin Ronny Verlaek, Cobra JAH-1S Mirko Esterhaus, EC 135 Marco Eden, EC 135 Dr. Ulrich Kund, EC 135 für T-Rex 700 Hervé Chartois, EC 135 PHT3 Radames Furlan, Bell 47 G III Winner: 1.Dr. Ulrich Kund, EC 135 für T-Rex 700 2.Hervé Chartois, EC 135 PHT3 3.Herbert Räumer, Bell 412 In all the models exhibited it was obvious a lot of passion and patience had been invested. Every model had the personal fingerprint of its builder, all being different to the next. All the models showing thought and meticulous workmanship. The individuality of each model is one big advantage of Vario models. ALL modelers that have been exhibiting on the day have deserved full honor and respect. It was difficult to choose the best between them. Review Vario Event 2013 The first prize was a fuselage kit for a Westland Lynx. Also, there were prizes like vouchers for a purchase at Vario and subscriptions for RC magazine RC heli action. Next year, we want to increase the static entries and make participation even more attractive. Sideprogramm: • Lunch, coffee, cakes, snacks, drinks where offered for charity purposes by the catholic community of Gräfendorf. • Frankonian wine was served by Monika Köhler from Binsbach • Technical support stand • Exhibitors that complete the Vario product range such as JR and Modellflugschule 2000 • The nearby trout farm had its Open day the same as every year • Presentation of handicraft by a local pottery • A nail studio for all woman and girls Along with all our visitors we also would like to thank: The exhibiting modellers, the pilots, the catholic community Gräfendorf, the major of Gräfendorf, Andy Kessler from JR/AKmod, Ralf Kuhn from Modellflugschule 2000, Lionel Thomassey from Eurocopter, the pottery artist Ursula Leithmann, the nail studio Emmanuell, the judges. …and we look forward to see everybody again next year! Review of the Turbine meeting by Bernd Pöting 01. June 2013 It was worth while visiting. We at Vario were looking to a laid back event in order to recover from the stressful days during the week. Bernd promised that it would be a laid back event and that was true. Bernd is a well-known RC flight instructor and has been inviting RC pilots for a couple of days Thursday he held already the speed cup. Saturday was his turbine meeting. We have been seeing at least 20 Vario and brought ourselves also 3 models: a Starwood Lama, the new EC 120 and the new Agusta AW 139. This one was flown by Reiner Hänschen. With the Starwood Lama our youngest employee in the Vario Team, Flo Sieber, was giving his debut in the Scale heli scene. He was flying the Starwood Lama well and this with an age of 23 years. His flight was approved by the Scale heli cracks. Flo liked the event and is now part of the Scale heli family. Well done, Flo!
