The following notes are intended to provide you with an
overview, to assist you in installing the Mover. Please also
adhere to the relevant installation instructions.

165/70 R13 − 205/65 R15
Installation of a Mover® is possible for tyre sizes of
between 165/70 R13 and 205/65 R15 (picture 2).

The distance from the bottom edge of the frame to the
ground must be at least 170 mm, to ensure a final floor
clearance of 110 mm once installation is complete (picture

In order for the lateral bar of the Mover® to be affixed
using the mounting set, sufficient space must be available
on the underside of the frame. To determine whether this
is the case, a distance of 106 mm needs to be measured
(either in front of or behind the axle) from the widest
point on the tyre. If there is an installation (that cannot be
moved, e.g. a waste water tank) or a joint in the chassis at
this point, installation is not possible (picture 1).

Tip
• If you know the caravan chassis type, you can use
the table on page 3 to select the relevant installation
variant, while on page 6 – 7 you can identify the
accessories required.
• If the chassis type cannot be identified, ascertaining
the following dimensions can be helpful in
determining whether installation of the Mover® is
possible.

(R), TE (R)(4) and H TE (R) to chassis from various
manufacturers. The new mounting system (picture 1) is
included from construction year 05/2012 for the Movers®
SR, SE R, TE R(4).

Final dimensions following installation
The following distances must be adhered to when the
Mover® is swivelled out (picture 2):
110 mm
minimum floor clearance of laden vehicle
20 mm * between the drive roller and the vehicle tyre
* Exception: Hobby Mover® 10 – 26 mm
When the optimal distance between the tyres and the drive
rollers is set, the tyres must be under load.
Installation over a pit is therefore simpler than with an auto
hoist. After installation, if an auto hoist is used, the caravan
must first be lowered before the distance between the drive
rollers and the tyres can be set.

The new mounting set (picture 2 – included in delivery)
suitable for all standard L-profile and U-profile frames,
likewise the predecessor model (picture 3).
If a frame does not meet the requirements listed, special
accessories are available to make it possible to install a
Mover® nonetheless – see Chassis variants overview /
Accessories overview.
Extra reinforcement is required for AL-KO chassis with
a frame thickness of less than 2.8 m – see mounting of
variant 5a.
Attention:
You must not drill into* or weld onto the vehicle frame.
* Exception: when using the flat frame kit with chassis from
various manufacturers – see Accessories overview.
Wheel suspension parts must not be removed under any
circumstances.
