IMPORTANT OFFICE REMINDERS

It is important that if you use a laptop or desk top computer that you have anti-virus on your computer. A
virus on a personal computer can compromise the entire office network
•
Effective February 1, 2015 the tourist tax has increased in Palm Beach County to 6%. (previous 5%) All
seasonal rentals that start on or after February 1st 2015 will be responsible for the new rate regardless of
when the lease was written or signed. Also as a reminder the office will not collect or hold tourist tax on
seasonal rentals. This should be made payable directly to the homeowner by the tenant
•
It is very important when filling out the 7 day notice you write the name of Title Company handling the
closing. When sending wires we must be able to match the wiring instructions with the 7 day notice. It is
also very important that the commission is filled in as we match that to the closing statement to ensure
no mistakes were made in regards to commission.
•
Listhub and Zillow – it is our understanding listings are no longer downloading to Zillow from Listhub. All
listings are downloading from remax. Its very important to have your MLS ID in your leadstreet account.
•
The office is organizing a company wide “FOR SALE” sign order. If you are interested in ordering signs or
