How To Use Naviance Where is the link to the Naviance website found? You can find it on the ORHS website. You can also use this link: connection.naviance.com/orhs On the main ORHS website, choose the Counseling-College & Career link. Where is the link to the Naviance website found? Choose the Naviance Family Connection for Students and Families link. Naviance Log In In the email box, please enter your 6 digit Student ID number. Your password is your 6 digit Student ID number. If you experience troubles logging into your Naviance account, please contact your grade level counselor. Naviance Tools What can I do with Naviance? • Research Colleges and Careers • Take a Career and Personality Inventory to find out what careers/college majors might be a good fit for you • Research/Apply for Scholarships • Build your resume • Check your Class Rank and GPA Colleges Tab Research and apply for scholarships. Careers Tab Your child can take a Career and Personality inventory. This will help your child explore careers and college majors that might be a good fit for him/her. About Me Tab This is where you can check your Class Rank and GPA each semester. Understanding Your GPA and Class Rank • Your GPA is your unweighted GPA (4.0 scale). • Your weighted GPA takes into account your Honors, PreAP, and AP courses. • Your Class Rank is based on your weighted GPA. Building Your High School Resume The resume section of Naviance is a great tool to help you keep up with your activities, awards, volunteer hours, etc., while you are in high school. You will need this information when you begin applying to colleges during your senior year. Try to keep up with this information during each of your high school years. It will make that part of your college application process a little easier. Please see your grade level counselor if you have questions related to your Naviance account.
