Favorite memory: I met my husband (Ed Carr) in calculus class! Studying abroad was a great experience, too.
When I left Alma College, I expected to finalize wedding plans with Ed. I accepted my first teaching assignment just prior to
graduation.
Other memories or comments: Ed and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this August. One of our children has
graduated from Alma College, and one is currently a junior!

Favorite memory: Of course, first seeing my future wife (Debora Richey) in Sipka’s first term calculus. My final game as
drum major of the Kiltie Band. The performance was perfect and it was such an emotional experience.
When I left Alma College, I expected to attend graduate school then be a principal investigator of biochemistry at a
successful biotech/pharmaceutical company.
Other memories or comments: So many. Where to begin? Alma was certainly four of the best years of my life.

When I left Alma College, I expected to marry Debbie Marsh and be a Senator.
Other memories/comments: The London research trip with Dr. Smith, single handedly the most important test of my life.

Memory of campus days: Hanging out in the dorms with friends, staying up all hours of the night, playing cards,

When I left Alma College, I expected to join the business world and take the world by storm
Other memories or comments: It is really hard to believe the impact that 4 years can have on ones self. I was at
Alma College for 4 years out of my current 46 years, less than 10% of my life, yet the impact of those 4 years is
immeasurable. I will forever cherish Alma College. The memories, friendsships, and experiences are too many to
count, and always fun to remember.
