This is the eighth edition of the musical
documentary film festival. Dock of the Bay returns

San Sebastian’s big celebration will
begin at midnight 19th. From that
moment the city’s streets will be
awash with the sound of drums.
After months of practicing, over
100 “tamborradas” (drum marches)
will go out onto the streets to
celebrate San Sebastian Day. The children
have their own “tamborrada” on 20th Morning.

NURSEMAIDS’ AND SHEPERDS’ DAY

Another traditional parade from this period of the
year is that of the nursemaids and shepherds. The
nursemaids will parade with babies in their arms
while the shepherds court them. High society from
the end of the 19th century and beginning of the
20th century will also be represented.

13TH HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL

Place: San Telmo Museum
Values such as peace, dignity, unity and solidarity
are at the heart of Entre Arenas, a project that will
encourage us to reflect on cooperation, the world
order and Human Rights through various events
that will be held in a large Bedouin tent, the work
of the Seville artist Federico Guzmán.

This international regatta has two crossings.

The route between Behobia and San Sebastian is
the location of Gipuzkoa’s big athletics event. The

The scent of txistorra will once again flood the
streets of San Sebastian on the 21st of December.
This traditional fair will bring together thousands
of citizens in the city centre to sample txistorra
sausage and buy cheese, honey and vegetables.
As always, a pig will be presented in the
Constitucion square.

As its name points out, we are speaking about a

paying a reasonable price, during a concrete period
of time of about two or three hours time.
There are several areas of pintxopote in the
different neighbourhoods of the town and the
price depends on the area.
