DAY 1
Arrive at Bilbao International Airport and transfer to San Sebastian.
San Sebastian is an elegant and smart beach resort city in the heart of the Basque
country and a paradise for gourmets (being the city with most Michelin stars per head
of population in the whole world)

EVENING PROGRAMME:
After walking around San Sebastian, clients will enjoy a strolling dinner visiting several of
the famous “Pintxos” Bars in the old town.
The massive variety of these tasty “pintxos” demonstrates the innovation and creativity of
the local chefs and is a great introduction to Spanish culinary culture.
“PINTXO” IS THE BASQUE NAME FOR “TAPAS”, SNACK-SIZED PORTIONS OF A NUMBER
OF HIGHLY ELABORATE DISHES.
DAY 2:
EXCURSION TO LA RIOJA WINE REGION
La Rioja is adjacent to the Basque Country and represents the most extensive wine region of
Spain, especially famous for producing excellent aged red wines.
Clients will make stops to visit several of the oldest cellars to taste their best wines.
Enjoy an atmospheric lunch in subterranean wine cellars…
Afternoon to explore & shop for wine in the medieval villages of La Rioja
Evening: Sunset dinner at one of San Sebastian’s finest beach restaurants….
DAY 3:
LEARNING TO COOK SAN SEBASTIAN FOOD
Morning : Shop at the local market in the company of a professional chef followed by a
cooking lesson.
What is your preference? Traditional local dishes or the new innovative Basque cuisine?
Lunch will be based on your own cooking skills!
Dinner with the stars: Unforgettable gourmet experience at any of San Sebastian’s
various 3-star Michelin restaurants.
Or for larger groups, dinner at a private monumental venue in the centre of the city, with
catering by a Michelin star chef.
DAY 4:
FINISH OFF IN BILBAO
Check out of your hotel in San Sebastian and transfer to Bilbao for your last day.
Stroll around the pedestrian Casco Viejo, the old town of Bilbao, followed by a
private panoramic boat cruise along the river….
Exterior and interior visit of the impressive Guggenheim Museum with a private lunch on its
outdoor terrace. After lunch, transfer to Bilbao Airport ready for the flight back home!
