Energy cosmetics
Africology believes in working with what is already available in our plant ingredients rather than
adding artificial products. One of the ways we amplify the effectiveness of our ingredients is
through radionics. Radionics transfers energetic patterns to our products, which keeps the plant
actives alive and ready to interact with your natural energy.
Because of this process, we are able to avoid using harsh chemical preservatives which destroy
the active nature of the plant ingredients and harm our valued clients. Energy cosmetics are also
an alternative to processed plant extracts which are usually used despite being far less effective.
Aromatherapy: Nature’s fragrance
We have always known the evocative power of smell. Smell is what leads many of us to food
and the comfort of familiar friends and family. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries for
spiritual and medicinal purposes by healers, mothers and religious leaders. It has been part of
prayer practise to provide focus, and to this day also used to clear oppressive atmospheres.

Packaging
Product packaging plays a large role in both our health and environmental sustainability. Glass is
the safest form of storage and is easily recyclable. Aluminium containers are highly toxic and their
production leaves a large carbon footprint.
Chemicals
Many skincare products contain chemicals that cause inflammation, free radical damage, distortions
in acid/alkaline balances, and cancer, generally damaging the immune and organ system.
Chemicals also disrupt the biochemical and energetic order of the skin. As our bodies accumulate
a build-up of toxic ingredients that we cannot process, our risk of cancer is substantially increased.

this gel contains quillaja extract and soapwort,

Clay Masque
For all skin types.
A wonderfully deep-cleansing, quick-drying,
conditioning product. It contains bentonite for the
absorption of excess oils and toxins from the skin,
making it the ideal treatment for eczema, rashes
and sunburn. Kaolin clay helps clear up breakouts,
leaving the skin smooth and refined. The clay
carries our plant steroids which stimulate blood and
lymphatic flow. It is enriched with marula, aloe ferox
and jojoba oils to hydrate and soften the skin.
Exfoliating Cream
All skin types, and for the treatment of troubled
skin.
Skin-protecting jojoba beads gently nourish
while they exfoliate the skin, removing dull,
dead cells. Enriched with grapeseed oil to
protect and soothe, our exfoliating cream
also acts as an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial
and anti-irritating treatment. Nourishing shea
butter improves skin softness, suppleness, cell
regeneration and blood circulation, making it
a wonderful healer for reactive and aging skin.

Designed to combat aging, this luxurious masque
contains Vitamin A Palmitate for increased
collagen production, improved texture and
elasticity. DMAE and ubiquinone help to protect
the skin membrane, keeping cells intact and

Our Anti-Oxidant Masque is rich in Omega-6
fatty acids and borage seed oil, both containing
GLA, an excellent emollient, anti-oxidant and cell

Perfect for a day cream and so versatile, this intensely
hydrating cream is enriched with olive extracts that deliver
our active ingredients into the skin. A cocktail of aloe
ferox, marula oil, sweet almond, coconut and grapeseed
blended into rich shea leaves the skin soothed, softened
and protected. A natural SPF of 15 is added and Shea is
combined with rose oil to fragrance the skin and balance
the hormonal system. The cream is packed with natural
antioxidants that protect and renew the cellular process.
Free from artificial fragrances that can damage the DNA
of the skin, this moisturiser is an essential part of your daily

Night Cream
This luxurious, hydrating cream is light and effective, perfect
for night time application. Beeswax sinks into the epidermis,
holding in moisture without clogging pores while a light

Glyco proteins reactivate tissue renewal by stimulating
cell respiration. When these proteins are combined with
palmitoyl pentapeptide-3, collagen and fibronectin

For treating dryness, sensitivity, redness, hormonal imbalances
Roses are good for the skin and soul. In mythology the rose has always
been associated with the soul or heart - with love, sexuality and the
feminine aspect. Our blended Rose Absolute treats dermatitis, redness,
sensitivity, and ageing skin. In modern aromatherapy practice, Rose is
used as a mild anti-depressant and also to balance emotions. It has a
balancing effect on the skin during hormonal changes. It assists with cell
regeneration and boosts levels of collagen and elastin. Rosehip consists
of 80% fatty acids that quickly penetrate the upper skin layers, leaving
the skin non-greasy and effectively moisturised. Today, we use Rose Oil to

A sensory balancing experience for mind and
body, this is a great way to unwind after a long
day. Made with soapwort extract, which has natural
foaming and cleansing properties, it cleanses gently
without upsetting the natural acid mantle of the skin.
Yucca extract is used for its anti-irritant properties,
and marula oil is the perfect emollient, leaving the
skin refreshed and hydrated. Experience a little
mind magic during the sanctity of bath time.
Bath Salts
These wonderfully aromatic salts are
blended with African potato, marula,
rooibos and aloe ferox to help to soften the
skin, improve circulation and relax sore and
stiff muscles. While the body is pampered,
the essential oils help you relax and calm the

Shower Gel
Extracts of gentle soapwort work to cleanse
without stripping the skin of its natural oils. A
fantastic alternative to chemical-based body
washes, it contains yucca to increase cell growth

A silky application that is formulated with natural oils
such as apricot kernel to protect, moisturise, nourish and
soften the skin. It is rich in Vitamins A and B and essential
fatty acids. It also contains Tripeptide-1 which enhances
collagen III and Vitamin C, which is required in the
production of collagen while evening out pigmentation.

Conditioner
A gentle shampoo for all hair types, we use
natural foaming plant extracts such as soapwort
to lift dirt without damaging the scalp. Free from
sodium laureth sulphate and other irritants, this
wonderfully rich and natural shampoo gently
cleanses the hair using quillaja extract. Enriched
with grapefruit and olive extract to assist oil
balance whilst deeply nourishing.
With rich, hydrating African Potato to nourish
the hair, and natural fragrances of Cape
Chamomile, Rosemary and Mint, this luxurious
conditioner will define and enrich all hair
types. Natural oils prevent greasiness and help
nourish the hair from root to tip. A naturally

Taking the scrapes and cuts out of shaving, our deeply moisturising cream provides a smoother shave with
shea butter and jojoba beads. Your skin is left feeling soft, protected and moisturised. Shea butter has
natural spf of 7, providing further protection against the sun.
Bath Soap
This fragrance-free, hydrating, gentle soap is
safe for the most sensitive of skins, maintaining the
delicate acid mantle of the skin while cleansing.
A disinfectant that does not use chemicals
to clean, our hand wash is a gentle blend of
natural plant and essential oils that clean and
disinfect without any toxic effect on the immune
system.
Body Scrub
We blend walnut and marula shell powder to provide
a gentle, chemical-free exfoliator. The scrub delivers
sunflower oil, rich in linoleic acid, vitamins A, B complex,
D and E, calcium, zinc, potassium, iron and phosphate
into the skin. All of these contribute to the general wellbeing of the cell membrane. Aloe ferox extract and
marula oil help to create a smooth, soft finish.

Shimmer Butter
This all-natural sumptuous shea body butter from Africology brings a touch of luxury and
African flavour to your skincare routine. Enriched with pure essential oils that uplift the spirits
and nourish the skin, it also contains glistening mica minerals that will give your complexion
a lovely glow all year round. Key ingredients include hydrating shea and neroli, uplifting
geranium, relaxing frankincense and calming jasmine.
Slimming Detox Cream
Contains a botanical blend of seaweed, ivy, horsetail, queen-meadow and biting clematis, all chosen for their
effective slimming and firming action. The cream is further enriched with caffeine, guarana extract, carnitine,
cysteic acid and pantethene sulfonate, which trigger cell processes that cause the mitochondria to burn up
excess fat.
We prefer to create extra activity in the cell so that we can turn the fat into energy instead of causing
false weight loss through dehydration. It is vital that the skin’s water supply is not tampered with so that
it can continue its normal processes.
To create an oil this luxurious, we infused

products. We have blended the singular African potato with our rooibos tea to create our own
uniquely African health blend. Rooibos has a naturally reddish-brown colour and is sometimes
referred to as ‘red tea’. We love adding a little ginger and cinnamon to intensify and imbue it with
that glowing, warm-body feeling. Rooibos contains high levels of antioxidants and is caffeine-free.
