the facilities and services offered at Spruce Point Inn. The information here is
intended to support the Resort map, Boothbay Harbor map, seasonal guide to
activities and the handy Innkeepers tips you’ll find in our mobile app (available
on iTunes and Google Play).
Here you’ll find a handy list of key telephone numbers for resources to serve
you on and off the property – including emergency contacts. At all times, the
professional staff at the Front Desk (dial 0) is ready to serve you.
For dining, Spruce Point Inn welcomes you to enjoy 88 for classic Maine
cuisine, Bogie’s our casual pub and Deck. Please be sure to make a reservation
when you plan to dine in 88. Reservations are also suggested for Bogie’s at
peak hours. Deck is open for lunch from June 15 through mid-September. We
are also happy to prepare a picnic lunch for you to take with you.

POWER OUTAGES
In the event of a power failure during your stay,

restored. You will find a flashlight in the bedside

The Fitness Room is located in our Lighthouse
building. The room is equipped with a treadmill,
elliptical cross trainer, stationary and recumbent
bicycles and weight machines. We also provide
dumbbells, stability balls, bosu, medicine balls,
and body bars.

Freshwater Pool
Smoking in the hotel or guest rooms is
prohibited. Guests may smoke 25 feet

HOUSEKEEPING
“Go Green” to reduce the environmental
impact of housekeeping services.
We invite you to participate in our Go Green
Program by declining daily housekeeping
service to reduce the use of water, chemicals,
gas and electricity at the resort. Each day
you participate in the Go Green program,
you receive a $10 credit for use in any of our
restaurants. (Go Green Program participation
can start after your first night’s stay.)
Complimentary washers, dryers and a coin
operated vending machine for laundry products
are available for guest use in our Lighthouse
Building.
The hot tub is located Oceanside. Towels,
lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided.
A full service boutique spa is available to you
while staying at SPI. A sundeck with hot tub,
lockers, and changing room is available.

Saltwater Pool
July and August

To participate in the program, please contact
the Front Desk. Each day, our staff will provide
a voucher for $10 in restaurant credit for each
night you participate. To obtain the credit,
simply present the voucher to your server.
Another conservation option is to request
limited housekeeping service. Hang the limited
service door hanger on your exterior doorknob
and we will replace only your towels, not the
bedlinens, and remove trash.
There is a heated freshwater pool located
adjacent to the Spa. Towels, lounge chairs,
umbrellas and pool toys are available.
PARKING
A Maine Lodging Tax of 8% must be added to
the room rate. In addition, there is a 10% Resort
Fee on all guestrooms and a 15% Resort Fee
on Cottages and Townhouses. This Fee covers
use of the resort’s core facilities, services, and
amenities (please note that some additional
fees apply for special services such as Spa
treatments and the Lighthouse Camp for
children).

Your pets are welcome at the Inn. We do ask
that you help keep our property clean by
properly disposing of all pet waste. Waste bags
can be found in the dispenser located near the
checkerboard court and at the trailhead to our
walking trails. Cookies and water are available in
the lobby. The Town of Boothbay Harbor does
require that pets are leashed. Please do not
leave pets unattended in your room.

TRANSPORTATION
Shuttle Service
An 11-passenger shuttle van is available to
take you into town or to the Boothbay Harbor
Country Club for golf.
Shuttle times are as follows: 9:00am, 11:00am,
1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

Boat Launch Service

To secure valuables, please contact our Front

A 28-foot Bristol Harbor Launch – “Bright Line”
- is available to take you into town. Departure
from SPI Dock 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, and
4:00pm – daily. Our launch is also available
for private tours and service to Burnt Island
Lighthouse.

via gradual ramp. The Inn is pleased to offer a

BICYCLES
SAILING
Bicycles and safety equipment are available and
can be checked-out at the amenity stand at the
saltwater pool.
Book a private sail along Boothbay Harbor
onboard your own Friendship Sloop. The
Sarah Mead, exclusive to the Spruce Point Inn
Dock, is known as the original lobster boat, a
fully restored Newbert and Wallace 32’ classic
wooden Friendship sloop and currently the only
wooden sailing lobster boat on the Maine coast.
CHECKERBOARD & CHESS COURT
Located across from the Balsam Lodge is a life
size court. Equipment is available at the court.
We encourage family play.
FISHING
Enjoy fishing directly from our dock and
equipment can be checked out there. We catch
mackerel and an occasional striped bass from
the dock. Our Chef will prepare them to your
liking in 88 or Bogies.
TENNIS
The two championship har-tru clay tennis
courts are located at the back of the property,
adjacent to the Spa. Reservations and
equipment are available by contacting the Front
Desk. Please make reservations at the front
desk to secure court time.
THE LIGHTHOUSE
GOLF
Boothbay Harbor Country Club is the perfect
Maine golf course, featuring breathtaking
vistas, challenging holes and a sea breeze
blowing off the ocean. Located just minutes
from Spruce Point Inn, this semi-private 18
hole championship club is truly a “Pure Maine”
golfing experience.
As a guest of Spruce Point Inn, you will enjoy
access to preferred tee-times and access to the
Club’s amenities including a driving range, pro
shop, golf instruction, and dining facilities.
This building is adjacent to the freshwater
pool and is the site for recreational activities
including: the Lighthouse Camp Children’s
Program and our fitness room. The Lighthouse
building also houses a ping-pong table, and
several other games or activities for our
guest’s enjoyment. Croquet can be played on
the Lighthouse building lawn; equipment is
available at the Lighthouse Building.

Spruce Point will transport you to and from the
Club. It is a 10 minute ride.

shuffleboard are located next to the
freshwater pool. Equipment is available
at the Lighthouse building.
HIKING
Enjoy our peaceful and beautiful 57 acres,
including several hiking trails. The trails are
marked on the pocket map provided at
check-in.
K AYAKS AND PADDLEBOARDS
Paddleboards, single and double kayaks are
available with life jackets. These can be
checked out at the dock.
