Aconit® offers you flexible design for your applications
Application
Aconit® burners are equipped with the Bekinit®
material. This is a knitted metal fibre, produced within
the Bekaert group, which has exceptional performance
in flame stability and heat insulation. Based on its special
design, you can apply Aconit® in your residential,
commercial and industrial applications at any input you
require, even beyond 1 MW.
Benefit from robust flexibility:
Aconits® unique Bekinit® material offers you high flexibility for shape
and size. There are Aconit® solutions possible for all heat exchanger
lay-outs. The high flexibility offers you extreme options regarding your
specific request for special burner design. Together with our Technical
Centre you will be able to develop your special Aconit® burner with
short time to market.
The knitted structure that makes Aconit® so special is based on ultra
thin, high temperature resistant stainless steel fibres. This in combination with the knitting process makes a burner surface that has superior
properties to any other burner surface.
It is very flexible, not only offering limitless shaping options through
processes known from normal metalworking like cutting and welding
but also creating a surface without temperature stresses.
Bekinit® is completely 3-dimensional creating loops that give flexibility, excellent insulation and the best possible cooling to the fibres
close to the flame.
The knitted structure is also relatively open creating less chance of
contamination and blockage of the surface during operation.
Bekinit® is very robust because of its metal properties, it is designed
to last the life of the boiler and endure normal service and cleaning
operations.
