According to the departments of the countries where clays
are used, we advise our customers to get information about
the law in force for waste disposal.
Notification from the manufacturer
(received with each bitumen invoice)
We, the manufacturers, hereby certify that the clays pertaining to this
delivery adhere to the following guidelines:
1. The paint used is non-toxic paint EN 71-3 1994. This paint is often
used in the manufacturing of toys.
2. The clays contain two basic ingredients, limestone and binder.
3. The binder does not exceed 30 ppm PAK (polycyclic aromatic
hydracarbons) with a Benzo (a) pyrene content below 5 ppm.
4. Clays conform to specifications as set by the International
Federations for breakability, flight path specifications, dimensions
and weights.
The measurements and the weight correspond to the technical
standards defined by the international federations.
Important: No Laporte or CPC Clay is manufactured using coal-tar pitch
