PARK REGULATIONS
CHECK-OUT TIME: 12:00 pm - Please re-register before noon if you plan to stay
another day or arrange for a late departure. Check-out time for lodges: 11:00 am.
quiet time: 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.
speed limit: 10 MPH. Please watch for children and pets.
pets: All pets must be kept on a leash. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN OR NEAR
BUILDINGS or SWIMMING POOL AREA. Your pets are welcome if kept under
control, quiet, cleaned up after and kept inside at night. No pets may be left
outside RV unattended at any time.
swimming pool/spa: bathing suits only: Please do not swim in clothes or cutoffs. No life guards are provided and an adult must accom-
pany children under 14. All people use the pool at their own risk. No one
under 14 allowed in the spa. Please shower before entering pool or spa.
children: Parents are responsible for all activities of their and their guests’ children.
smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any park building or playground area.
littering: Littering will not be tolerated. Please place trash in receptacles provided.
washing of vehicles: Fee charged pay at office.
campfires: GAS GRILLS ONLY. No charcoal or wood fires allowed.
personal property: We are not responsible for damage, injury or loss by theft
accident, or fire to either the property or person of any registered person or their guest.

The Albuquerque Biological Park... The Albuquerque Biological Park is the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Gardens, Rio Grande Zoo and
Tingley Beach. The Botanic Gardens is an oasis in the desert that encompasses 36 developed acres. The Albuquerque Aquarium has freshwater fish,
ocean life, coral reefs, an eel tunnel and a 285,000 gallon ocean tank. A walk through the Aquarium and Gardens is about 1.6 miles. The Rio Grande
Zoo path is about 2.27 miles long. When visiting, kennels for pets are free, wheelchairs are available upon request and there are two train rides routes
through the BioPark at a small all-day fee. Summer Concerts are available too. Tingley Beach has free fishing for children and a catch-and-release pond
for adults.
Acoma Sky City Tour... “The people of the white rock” live atop a 370' sandstone mesa. The 2,000 year-old “Sky City” is the oldest continually inhabited
community in North America. Native Acoma guides conduct tours of Sky City Pueblo and the San Estevan del Rey Mission completed in 1640.
Indian Pueblo Cultural Center... The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center preserves and educates visitors about the culture, art and history of New Mexico’s 9
pueblo tribes. The center has two museums, several gift shops and a cafe specializing in cultural fare, as well as traditional dances and art demonstrations every weekend.
The Sandia Peak Tramway... The tram is the longest aerial tram in the world, 2.7 miles, and has taken more than 8.5 million passengers to the top of
Sandia Peak (10,378') on the eastern edge of Albuquerque since its opening on May 7, 1966. The popular tram makes 10,500 trips a year. This “double
reversible” jigback aerial tramway means that one tram is ascending while the other is descending. Its two cars are capable of carrying 50 passengers
each and have numerous safety and backup systems. Call for schedule 505-856-7325.
The National Atomic Museum... A museum so interesting, you won’t even care that you’re learning. It is an intriguing place to learn the story of the
Atomic Age. On July 16, 1945 at 5:29:45am in the desert west of Alamogordo, the world’s first atomic explosion shook the ground. The Trinity Tour will
take you on a guided tour of the Trinity Site on White Sands Missile Range where this historic event took place.
The Petroglyph National Monument... The Petroglyph National Monument protects a variety of cultural and natural resources including five volcanos,
archeological sites and an estimated 20,000 carved images. Many of the images are recognizable animals, people, brands and crosses; others are more
complex. These images are inseparable from the cultural landscape, the spirits of the people who created them and who appreciate them.
