The Faculty of Arts was formed in
2010 through the merge of two older and
acknowledged faculties in the Romanian
vocational high education system, Music
and Theatre. Its study programs are legally
approved and correspond to the laws and
educational
quality
principles
of
the
European Space of Higher Education.
The Faculty of Arts functions at the
“Spiru Haret” University, which is a private
higher

artistic mastery (piano, choir canto, and
instrumental interpretation) able to offer a
complex training for our graduates. The
curriculum
of
this
program
includes
fundamental disciplines (History of music,
Theory of music, Music forms, and Musical
folklore), specialized disciplines (Harmony,
Counterpoint, Piano, Choir conductor, and
Choir canto) and complementary and
optional disciplines.
Duration is 3 years, with frequency,
180 transferable credits in the European
system (additional 20 credits for the degree
exam and the diploma paper)
