Mentoring Programs
Our mission is to provide quality mentoring relationships
between children and qualified adults in Northwestern
Ohio, and promote their development into competent,
confident and caring individuals. We strive to achieve this
through the following programs:
 Traditional Mentoring — community based one-on-one mentoring as a Big Brother or Big Sister.
 Positive Connections provides mentoring to children of
mentally ill parents.
 The M-3 Project is an anti-alcohol and drug use mentoring to
pre-teenage girls.
 The WIA Project furnishes career and employment related mentoring to high school students.
 Mentoring Children of Prisoners – matches
children that have one or both parents incarcerated in a Federal, State, or Local correctional facility.
 School Based /Site Based Mentoring — focuses on academic and moral character building.
 Mentoring for a Day matches volunteers and children for a
day.
 Lucas County Children Services – to provide individual and
group mentoring services to children between the ages of 6 to
12 years of age who are currently in foster care placement.
