Sight & Sound in 1992. As a critic, curator, journalist, and scholar, Rich has been inextricably linked to the New Queer Cinema from
its inception. Her newest book, New Queer Cinema: The Director’s Cut, presents Rich’s current thoughts on the topic, as well as
