InterContinental Christmas
It is impossible not to feel it: that new look, wind of change, impetus. After a period
of reflection, now is the time to act. At InterContinental Madrid we have always
wanted to join in this social pulse and this was not going to be an exception.That new
renewed look has come right through the door of our hotel and breezed into our
kitchens and rooms... shaking up our way of being and doing things, but without losing
the strong identity that makes the InterContinental seal recognisable on 5 continents.
This is how we have initiated a process which promises to push us hard towards the
future. A movement that has allowed us to renew our emblematic lounges to host
the capital’s most important events with a more sophisticated style. Our efforts have
even included renovating our slogan: “More than a hotel, a lifestyle”.These words sum
up our commitment to innovation and creativity, to transform our services into a life
experience.
Indeed, it appears that Europe is opening a bright horizon, full of hope and new
opportunities, appearing before our eyes as a prelude to a major transformation.
And it is here in Europe where we have wanted to celebrate with you this Christmas
and the arrival of a happy 2016. Whoever visits our hotel during those dates will be
able to enjoy a journey through the senses and the different Christmas customs of
Amsterdam, Cannes, Frankfurt, Rome and, of course, Madrid.Thanks to the impressive
dishes inspired by InterContinental hotels in these iconic cities on the Old Continent
and designed by our team of chefs comprising Juan Carlos de la Torre and Miguel de
la Fuente.
Even before the arrival of the Three Kings, we have already received our first gift
in the form of an award: for the second year running, World Travel Awards, which
recognise excellence in all sectors of the tourism industry, have named us the Best
Business Hotel in Spain. A gift that we want to share with you.
