Cooking Up A Storm — Using a traditional recipe, measure & mix to create yourself a take home bag of yummy
treats. Be careful you might find it so yummy it won’t even
get home!! (Limit 30. Book at reception. Sessions suitable
for primary age – 15y/o children. All children wanting to
participate must book a spot)
Glittering Seahorse — The seahorse is one of the many
beautiful sea creatures found in our ocean. Come and
make your very own sparkling, shimmering seahorse to
brighten up your house.
Bead Bugs — With wire and beads twist, thread and
bend your way to making this gorgeous creature. Sit her on
your desk at school to watch you work, hang it from your
bag so she goes everywhere with you or make your own
bug family for your home. Whatever you do with your
creation you’ll be sure to be thrilled with your “Bead Bug”!
Fabulous Flowers— These flowers will never wilt or get
old. All yyou need is a p
piece of material, needle and cotton,
a button and basic sewing skills and you can create these
beautiful everlasting flowers in whatever colours you
choose.
Reading, ‘Riting & ‘Rithmatic — Be on your best behaviour as the School Ma’am shows you how to behave in the
1870’s Common School. Dress in period costume, role play
& use slate boards. Don’t misbehave or the School Ma’am
might have to get her cane out & you don’t want that! Age:
Primary School. Limit: 30. Book at Reception
Croquet—Have you ever seen croquet played? It looks
complicated but once you learn a few skills and know a few
rules you’ll be playing like a pro in no time. It’s lots of fun!
Crazy Crows — These fun funky creatures can be made
using some spare wool, a bit of glue and some other bits
and bobs. The end result is a unique and colourful bird to
hang or sit in your house. They also make wonderful
presents. No sewing involved but you learn to make a basic
pom pom using just your hands only. A useful skill to have
as you can use these to make all sort of interesting things.
