VANS presents the 54th annual coastal
edge east coast surfing championships
August 21st – 28th, 2016
COMPETITION:
• Competition schedules and heat schedules will be posted each day on the beach and at www.surfecsc.com.
• Quicksilver Super Groms is Sunday, August 21st; 12:00-4:00 pm. Additional release form required.
AWARDS:
• Top winners in each division will receive a unique collectable CE ECSC trophy.
• Winner of the Tautog’s/Doc Taylor’s Pro Open Shortboard receives a paid entry and ASP membership ($450 value) and a wildcard slot
into the Vans Pro Men WSL (Only surfers without current membership or prior affiliation with WSL).
• Competitors registered prior to Monday, August 15th are guaranteed an official CE ECSC Competitor t-shirt.
ENTRY FEE/Purse:
• Amateur: $65 first division; $45 for each additional division (prior to 11:59 pm August 15th)
• Pro: Pro Longboard $150/$5,000 purse; Pro Women Shortboard $150/$5,000 purse;
Tautog’s/Doc Taylor’s Pro Open Shortboard $150/$5,000. (prior to 11:59 pm August 15th)
• Quicksilver Super Groms is Sunday, August 21st; 12:00-4:00 pm is FREE

• Register online at www.surfecsc.com.
• Mail completed form to: ECSC Surf Entry, 1112 Jenson Drive, Suite 103, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Must be post marked by August 15th.
• Make check payable to: ECSC
• Drop-off – entries can be dropped off at COASTAL EDGE located at 216 21st St, Virginia Beach no later than Monday, August 15th at 7:00 pm.
• Late Registration – There will be a $50 late fee for entries received after August 15th.
• Walk-up registration will be accepted if space is available. A $50 late fee will apply, no exceptions. No personal checks will be accepted at
event. Cash or money order only.
• Competitors registered after Monday, August 15th are not guaranteed an official CE ECSC Competitor t-shirt. T-shirts will be provided
while supplies last.
