A Track Pass gives you access to the infield to use before the race, where you can check out the start/finish line, walk along pit road, visit Sprint FanWalk, Gatorade Victory Lane, and watch the pre-race concert and driver introductions. Track Pass Schedule Sunday, April 22, 2012 (Subject to change per sanctioning body) 9:00 am CAMPERS CORNER RV load-in begins at 8 am on Thursday, April 19. Staging begins at 6 am. Please do not arrive before 6 am. Vehicles are not allowed to park on the shoulder of the roads surrounding the speedway. April 2012 We are excited to welcome you to another exciting race Motorhome Terrace/Infield Reserved – Limit of ten (10) admissions per reserved space. Motorhome Terrace/Infield Reserved – Site holders will be allowed to purchase ONE Add-On vehicle pass per spaces at the gate only. Richmond/Daytona – One Add-On vehicle pass per space will be issued at no charge Only vehicles with this pass will be permitted access to these areas. All vehicles must fit within the 20’ x 45’ space. Motorhomes, RV’s, campers or any other self-contained vehicles admitted with a reserved site admission will NOT be eligible for pass-out or re-entry. AMENITIES PROVIDED All spaces on Kansas Speedway property currently do not offer water or electrical hookups. Although there are no dumping or water stations available, portable water trucks will be available along with a pumping service to empty septic tanks. (Services are available at an additional cost) Port-o-Lets and trash barrels are located throughout the RV areas. Please leave them in the areas where they are placed. This allows Kansas Speedway to service them more efficiently. Portable Shower Houses are available in all campgrounds Important Phone Numbers: weekend at Kansas Speedway. For transportation from the Motorhome Terrace in Turn 4, get on the mini-bus at Gate A. For transportation here from the Motorhome Terrace on the backstretch, take the tram at Park And Ride across from the Richmond Campground. 10:20 am Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band 11:00 am Must be on infield grass before 11 am to see driver introductions. 11:20 am Driver introductions start. Please exit field IMMEDIATELY following driver introductions by going back into Sprint FanWalk. For transportation going back to Gate A/Motorhome Terrace in Turn 4, get on the mini-bus below the scoring pylon. For transportation back to Motorhome Terrace on the backstretch, get on the tram at the tram stop on the infield. • • • • • • • Tents are not allowed on Kansas Speedway property No temporary scaffolding will be allowed in the Infield or Terrace. Ladders and platforms must be permanently attached to vehicles. No platforms more than 12 inches above the roofline are allowed. Flags or banners rising above the roofline must be taken down prior to the race. Fireworks, supersoakers, water balloon launchers, spotlights, laser pointers or other items deemed dangerous by Kansas Speedway to guests, staff or competitors, are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. No signage or advertising is permitted on any vehicles without written approval No pets will be allowed on Kansas Speedway property. You can contact Welbort Pet Boarding for your pet boarding needs. Rather than simply resurfacing, we decided to reconfigure the track surface to generate even more competitive racing. The camping contest theme for April race weekend is Spring Fling. Decorate your spot by the theme and you could win a great prize from Blue Ox that includes t-shirts, victory lane gear, and a cooler. I have an infield RV spot, will I lose my spot when you add a road course? FREE Showers: Showers will be provided at no additional cost to all Kansas Speedway campers. In the infield, the showers will be located across from the scoring pylon. In the Richmond Campground, the showers will be located near the entrance to the campground. This way we can assure that they understand the guidelines and have the necessary information to make their weekend great. RV holders are held responsible for all actions occurring in their RV spots.
